It is time that RUDE Cheyl Cockroach Wilson went home. TOO MANY people complain about her. She treats her employees like dirt and they keep walking out the door. Everyone that deals with her is sick of her. Its time to go home. Someone steals all of Beard signs, I guess their scared.
Paula Beard will do a great job.VOTE for Positive improvement. Paula can do the job and respect the public and employees.

And if you want to judge the candidates by the pictures they use in their advertisements, then you might want to notice the fact that the picture Mrs. Cochran uses in her ads is not exactly a current representation. 20 bucks says that's a glamour shot from 1994. I have seen and heard how Cheryl treats her employees and I would be willing to bet if they were not afraid of losing their jobs they would vote for Paula too. Never in my life have I witnessed such controlling and dictating behavior or heard of rules like the ones she has made that she expects her employees to follow although she is exempt from them. You better be there when you are sick or a family member might be dying, can't have food on your desk, no cellphones on or she will confiscate them, no breaks at all, you don't need your purse when you go to the bathroom, and Oh, Ladies, don't grab up your purse too soon when the clock says it is time to go home - remember she has to say when. However, I think the turnover rate in that office speaks for all of this. She has lost some very dedicated and deserving people because of the silly fear she has of "losing control" of those people that won't take it and move on to better jobs. Those people are the lucky ones.

so what job are you supposed to our talk on your cellphone at? and frankly i think it is unprofessional to have people eating at there desks where the public is in and out it is also not very clean. i would rather have a hard ass boss than a dumb ass boss anyday.

I was planning on voting for Wilson and then someone told me that she got on the radio and said she was not supporting Sheriff Jones but supporting Baker. That done it for me. Don't know Beard but I do know that we have a good Sheriff so I will be voting for Beard.

GET REAL everyone. Who is to judge the ability of someone just by the way they look. Many people have professional pictures to put out in public. This is for appearance only. Look beyond that and see what is behind that picture. I have found in the many years of working in the public that looks can fool you. Paula maybe someone that would be better in her job than what you think. Lets give someone else a chance. With Cheryl in office there is two sides there as well. One she presents to the public and one is to the employees. So what is behind that face/picture. As the old saying goes "Don't judge a book by its cover." Do give someone else a chance.

RESPECT!!!IT is something that Cheryl knows nothing about. Dictator like leaders(bosses) are out. Respect is something you must show in order to get. With the current lack of respect in this office, you will not get the job performance we as tax payers deserve. When you treat your employees with disrespect, they lose a sense of confidence and stability. Do we really need people who keep our IMPORTANT documents feeling like they may lose their job at anytime? I dont think we do. If one of your IMMEDIATE family members gets deathly ill(like for instance with a sudden heart attack) and you travel to another city to be with them and your job gets THREATENED, what do you think it does for morale? Not just for the person that experiences this type of dictatorship, but for everyone of them. They would come to think "What if that was my parent or husband?" See how that could affect everyone in the office? If the current official cant show the public and employees respect, then we need a change. Some people who have held a leadership type position for so long come to think they are untouchable, lets show her its time for a change!! Elected officials should not forget who pays their salary!!

Everyone in every office in the courthouse can use their cell phone EXCEPT in the Circuit Clerk's office - with the exception of Ms. Wilson - she uses hers all the time. What is this "do as I say not as I do?" Get Real! Plus, anyone incumbent who instructs her employees to BOOO a candidate's representative at a forum is not very professional - OR - you may think that's professional. If your child is sick - you can stay on the phone for 1 minute to contact someone to pick them up at school or wherever they are - EXCEPT for Ms. Wilson. Sick? Go to the doctor on your lunch hour. One minute late for work - you're written-up and put on probabation - yea, you sound like you've lived in a "concentration-type-camp " like she runs. Get real and post the facts. Employees sit on a bench, while Ms. Wilson is in the office and at 8:30 she opens the door and lets them in - like kindergarteners - then around 5:15 she wants to know if their work is done and they can be dismissed - like kindergarteners. By the way, I personally know Paula. She's down-to-earth, loves people, and knows you wherever she sees you, no matter what you look like! She is also compassionate and a hard worker. Maybe she eats lunch at work because she has work that needs to be done - they call that dedication. It's folks like you that need to work for her - you seem like the same type!

I meant that you need to work for Ms. Wilson (not Paula) because you seem like her type! Then you can be counted as one of the 60-plus employees she has hired and fired. Good Luck!

Oh, yeah, Paula's picture was taken by a professional photographer - and what you see is what you get - she still looks the same today as her campaign picture. She is a class act in my book. At least it's not some 20 year old glamour shot that looks unprofessional for an official. Maybe you ought to get to know her - you might like her!

That's bullshit!! Get your facts straight before commenting on a subject you absolutely know nothing about. Ms. Wilson wanted to file a Civil lawsuit - lawsuit - lawsuit. Want facts - talk to her employees OR have the guts to come talk to the County Judge, the Sheriff, or the Salary Review Committee. Her ass should have been run off years ago!!

I really don't think she should make what the Sheriff or Judge makes. They have 60 employees and she has 10,,she made such a fool of herself over that.That whole thing will cost her some votes. The QC done the correct thing.

What it boils down to is there is just waaay to much controversy with Cheryl - Let's just VOTE FOR PAULA and be done with it! She deserves a chance - Cheryl has had the job too long and personally, I think she has done all she can do. She has run out of ideas and we need a fresh start.
