Does anyone have any information on the murder of my cousin that took place in Granbury, TX during 90/91? She had just opened a T-Shirt shop close to the bus stop and not far from the Granbury Police Department. She used to have a sister - Molly, that worked as a dispatcher for GPD. As far as I know, it was never solved. I'm not sure if my cousin's last name was Hunter as I believe this was the last name of her stepfather. But, I hope I've given enough tips for people to recall her and her murder. Please help. Thank you.

I have to correct myself. I'm looking for information into the murder of Holly Palmer during 1988 in Granbury, TX. She was murdered while preparing her T-Shirt shop late one night. I've been told the shop was very close to the police department and a bus stop. I would appreciate any information which anyone would have. This unsolved murder has gone on too long. It's very possible there's a murderer amongst you, free to come and go as he/she wishes.

i believe the murder remains unsolved. her ex-husband was never a suspect. but some say it was a man she was involved with who owns a local restaurant and was rumored to be involved in drug trafficking. i believe they eventually attributed it to transients late at night being dropped off at the bus stop.

sad, sad case.

A transient? How convenient. I wonder if there were any purported witnesses in this case. I mean, if the murder occurred in a location in town, you'd wonder if it was a high traffic area. Even at night wouldn't someone had seen something? A car? Stranger(s)? If it were transients from a bus stop, you'd think passengers could be identified through bus tickets. I mean, wouldn't the busses have records of who bought tickets? Does anyone know if there was any DNA left at the scene? Any more information would be appreciated. Oh, I heard the killer was a homosexual. Not sure what this has to do with her murder though. Weird.

Holly was my aunt. Over the years I have thought about this case. Her father ( my grandfather) passed last year and never got justice.

Hi Mrs G
I want to thank you for responding. I saw something on the internet about a guy bernie mc wall who had beeen recently arrested for a couple of female murders that happened aroung hood county 25 years ago.
I contacted the judge and prosecutor via fax and asked if they were similar. I have yet to get a response

Ive been told that who found her, drove all the way to P. R. about 6 miles away instead, of walking 100 feet to the police station, which was next door.

I agree with you and somebody knows something, but back then in 88 granbury police dept was having a lot of internal problems and was very inept at following up on cases.

the police station was in eye view of the building, and no transients were ever there, because there was no place for them ,building to small and out in open , and she broke it off with him because he was a druggie and his family owns 4 restaurants and was padding the pockets of law enforcement. I know them and the police leave them alone, or paid to look the other way.

That's very interesting...What kind of restaurants are they and do they still own them? I have worked at several places in Granbury and was curious if I have ever worked for them.

Whew, I've heard things about the owners of Pastafina, but have they been around since '88? Unfortunately I have never heard anything about Holly Palmer's murder because in 1988 I was four/five years old (also, living in Blum).

Pastafina has only been business 10 years according to their web site.
I had faxed questions to the DA s' office and the judges office and those____ have yet to contact me.
If I saw the case file with crimescene photos I could make a psychological profile based on the evidence. Such a profile can indicate a personality already suspect.
I can say for certain that no official in Granbury at the time could of done this. There is evidence that has been overlooked

Are you asking me to explain it, or saying that my having lived in Blum explains something else?

I do know back in 88 a friend of mine owned the land where pastafina is now, it was a glass company, and subdived the land where jack in the box and pastafina is and could find out thru the tax assesors office who purchased the land might be helpful.
