Why is it that we pay the jail money to keep the inmates in but when a week later my son was not realeased and should have been a week before and no one noticed that this person was still THERE..?? Then we went to visit and heard all kinds of bad things about how long people had to wait. Is this town so far behind in the times that they cannot afford a computer to see these releases. Thank you Johnson County for keeping our inmates twice as long as they should and for your tax payers money to pay for it so some redneck jailer is too lazy to guess and see why they are not out yet.

A very frustrated Mother of a son that should have been release the week before to another county but Johnson county did not take the inistitive to call and see why they have not come to get him.. I guess he would still be there waiting on your taxpapers money if we did not call and call to get someone to finally check and see and they said. oh well, he should have been relesed last week. SHAME ON YOU JOHNSON COUNTY. GET SOME NEW JAILERS!!
Shame on you

Maybe you should have had a better son that did not need to go to jail. Sounds like the problem was at the other county that failed to come and pick up your son, not Johnson County.

Maybe is your son was not a criminal he would not have been in jail in the first place and that would have saved our tax dollars!!!! Fix your problems first before you try to fix others and keep your REDNECK CRIMINAL son out of JAIL and save OUR tax dollars.

SHAME ON YOU LAZY REDNECK MOTHER FOR NOT RAISING A BETTER LAW ABIDING SON!!
Should be shame on you

See Linda
Thatís the type of people above (shame on you) that work in Johnson county jail. They just run there mouth like H20 24/7, they know nothing about what's really going on.
They know nothing about Human rights and dignity, even if they are or was an Inmate.(Who the hell are you to judge her son?) Do you even know what he's charges were? "I BET NOT"!! Even more so who are you to judge the way she raised her son. Were you there? Johnson county Jail does need some new jailers that know how to be responsible treat inmates and further more there family with a little more respect and have some ethical values.
Johnson County is be operated by people like (shame on you) that is why there is so many problems there.
SO WHO ACTUALLY WASTING ARE TAX PAYER $$$MONEY$$$????
Shame back on you

See Linda,

There are some people out there that will be on your side, probably because they have been a guest at the grey bar hotel.

I guess, according to you, that we should just turn them all loose because they have human rights and dignity. Don't worry about the crime victim or the tax dollars being spent to catch that criminal for his wrong doings and don't worry about housing the criminals.

The people actually wasting the tax money is the criminal and the parents who raise the criminal, becuase they should have done a better job. I do not care what the little urchin did to get there, he is the real drain on the tax system not the jailers that do not call other agencies to see why they have not come to pick up a prisoner.

I did not have to be there to see that obviously something went wrong in her parenting strategies, because the little darling was put in jail. I think that speaks for itself.

Lastly, I do not work for the jail, but I do pay taxes. If you want better jailers pay them more, so that they do not have to keep hiring and training new jailers that leave for more money.

Should be shame on you, your the type that opens up the flood gates with yourI think I know what I am talking about spill, when in actuallity you know nothing.

Furthermore, Johnson County is always hiring new jailers maybe you should become one and show them how it is done.

Oh you can't, because you are probably a former guest in the Grey Bar Motel and therefore not eligible to show us your respect for others as well as those great ethical standards I am sure you do not possess.
Shame on you

It is not the jailers fault, it is the Capt's that hire the under qualified personal. Well both Capts are under qualified and have no clue how run a county jail. Letting inmates out on time is the least of there worries. Ranking jailers beating inmates one day and the inmate dies the next day and no investigation done is a major problem. Female jailers having sexual relationships with inmates, the Capt's trusties smoking dope with the capt's knowing and nothing is done.
I Think these issues should be handled before any thing else.

And you have proof of all of this I am sure. NOT!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure an inmate was beaten and died and they just swept it under the rug. Come up with some proof of that, it would be nice.

You are right it was swept under the rug! Maybe before you speak you should do some research your self. I will not say the inmates name that died but if you look back 3-4 months you will find out who it was. Then you can look at the death certificate and see what the cause of death was. After that you can request some of the incident reports. That is where you will find the proof!

Since you seem to have so much knowledge of the conspiracy, you should provide the evidence. Dont tell me where to go look, you should be able to give me the details since you know so much.

The Texas Rangers investigate all deaths that occur in the criminal justice system in Texas. I guess they did not investigate that one and swept it under the rug as you claim.

You can not prove anything, becuase the conspiracy is a figment of your imagination. If you are going to make such outlandish and baseless claims then you should back it up with some evidence, not tell someone to go and look it up on a wild goose chase.

You are making assumptions again and false allegations, just like assuming Shame on you worked at the jail.

Provide facts to your claims before you let your mouth spew its fountain of BS

Since I am not one to shuck a challenge, I attempted to locate the information and found nothing relating to inmate deaths in the Johnson county Jail in the last 6 months. You are going to have to provide some proof, which I am sure you can't, becuase there is nothing on the subject on the internet or newspapers.

PROVIDE SOME PROOF!!!!!!!!!!
Shame on you

It would be every easy to prove what happened when you see it first hand. And Rinehart can not investigate unless it was reported. Because they did not report he died at the facility. He died at the hospital so it was not reported. I tell you what Mr.I am the Law, I now how this facility works because I work here. I came from another facility and this is the dirtiest system I have ever worked in. And I really dont have to prove anything to you! I can tell you what I know and you can believe me or not! I will continue to tell what I know

If you work there, mister tell all jailer, then why do you not do something to clean it up and quit bitching about it in a forum. People like you are the reasons some systems do not get fixed, becuase they are to cowardly to come forward.

Plus, the guy was in custody and Rhinehardt would still be conducting an investigation. Provide some real info on it if you have it and are going to talk about it.

Provide some proof and make a stand you wus!!

Everyone makes mistakes. No one has a right to say that a person didn't raise their child right. You can put a leash on your child until they move out of your house, but they still have a choice of whether or not they're going to commit a crime. I've spent nineteen months in this facility, and it is by far one of the worst places to ever be. It actually made me think twice about committing any other offenses because it is truly the devil's playground. I've had a chance to talk with officers and meet the man that they all said beat the inmate to death. Johnson County does an excellent job covering up all of their mishaps, but it will soon be brought to the light. Jesus said that there is nothing hidden that shall not be known. Secrets are temporary, so you lawmakers better watch out. You're rain of terror is coming to an end very, very soon.

U agree with you - I do have proof of pictures, statments and eyewitness, I was shut down and the investigation was dropped due to the fact that I "knew" someone on the inside. The bad thing is when you do try and show someone, better make sure they are not connected with the inside in any way. It will leak out one of these days.
