I thank this man and his family for his sacrifice. It must be just coincidence that "Taking Chance" was on TV tonight. What a great story of honor and valor and very much reminded me of this Matagorda soldier's story as well. He will be missed.

"What else can an individual say or do for the Ward family in their time of grief but to hold up U.S. flags and to stand silently to honor and show are support," bystander Patti Holland said.

Well, for a start, you could point out that, if they had raised this murdering grunt properly, he might still be around today.
You could mention that killing, torturing and abusing innocent Iraqis for Bush and his cronies' oil enrichment was not honorable.
You could also point out that he has brought shame and disgrace to the US, which is now despised by civilized countries throughout the world.
I hope this helps.

Hey Marat on behalf of my entire family I want to say Your Welcome!!! Just think if it wasnt for people like my brother giving their lives people like you wouldn't be able to say what you just said. My brother has been in good with god his entire life and i know when he soon in front of the lord on judgment day he was greeted with a smile and kind words. As for you sir one day your day will come and when it does i hope that you suffer a very long slow and painful death!! My Brother Sgt. Joshua Ward was a GREAT Son, Brother, Father, soldier and friend. Its a shame your family didn't raise you better and teach you to watch your tongue because one day it will come back to bite you in A**! Good Day!
Thank You,

How dare Marat say something so horrible about a soldier who gave his life trying to help others HAVE a life! They are not over there to torture & abuse & kill innocent Iraqi people. They are doing their best to help them. Obviously he is mistaking our soldiers for the Al Qaida & other evil terrorists over there.
To the family of Sgt. Joshua Ward I say you did a great job raising a wonderful caring man like him. God bless you.

The same "countries that despise us" are the same ones that ask for our aid.
innocent iraqis?... those people will strap a bomb onto an INNOCENT CHILD to try to kill a US soldier!HOW INNOCENT IS THAT???
The highest honor a muslim can get is to slay an "infidel" or suicide in the name of "Allah".
The highest honor here that you can get is from the military when a soldier risks his or her life for somebody elses!
the most respected way of life in the USA is to serve in a branch of our military: PROTECTING OUR CONSTITUTION, FREEDOM, AND LIVES. It takes a certain type of human being to be selfless, leave their families behind for months, and risk their own lives for us and unfortuneately people like YOU!
What is most sickening about you is that you defend the iraqis' curse our soldiers but you walk the streets of America, utilizing the same freedoms that OUR COUNTRY'S constitution provides you, FREE FROM YOUR HOMELAND OF TYRANNY AND DEATH.
This war was is not because of oil, it was because a bunch of muslims decided to fly planes into the WTC and Pentegon killing thousands of innocent people. thankfully the bravery of few American people on one plane gave their own lives to prevent futher American deaths!
In Closing i would like like to say: Thank you to each and every soldier in our military. It is you that allows me to sleep at night, to work and pay my own bills, to be able to go where i want to, and live my life. Thank you to Joshua Ward who so selflessly dedicated his life to serving in our great nations military and giving his life so that we can continue to live ours, you will not be forgotten.
to Marat: if you love em so much why dont you live there? oh and keep in mind that it is people like you that makes our soldier's jobs just a little bit easier...:)
