Other than they ruined it for the whole county to have an extra engine, nothing at all! as far as them saving a home, They NEVER have yet! In fact, if you shut the whole department down, it would go completely unnoticed except for the money it would save. There is no leadership there at all and it shows.
Lmao this sounds personal. It's not about an engine or money.

I agree with NICE...
Wasting the communities money is personal. It should be personal to everyone in the community. We would still have the 175 truck if it was't for CCFD wasting money and risking the health of the public going code 3 and driving sporadic to the pager requests when they should have just been standing by. Now, we all lose because of one organization.

How can you agree with whoever NICE is and at the same time say you want the 175 truck? Nice was basically saying have a duty crew was pointless. CCVFD still have the 175 truck. I don't understand why the big fuss about it. I think it's great they put one of their engine available for duty crew. It made me feel better. They have a first responders class which mean they can take care of you in multiple situations, not just a fire. So if an ambulance wasn't available right away guess what? DUTY CREW. Tax dollars well spent.

For your information, the driver was not flying and was ran off the road by another vehicle. He went into the ditch to avoid hitting an oncoming car.
