I am currently living in paris, Tx. Me and my wife are looking for a house that is nice in the 119 to 150 range. I will be doing my student teaching in the fall, but I am also looking for a school district to hire me in the fall. My wife is an RN, and we are wanting to move to the rockwall area bad can anyone help. I am a kinesiology major. (P.E. teacher and coach, I could test in others fields if needed).

The Rockwall ISD has already done it's hiring for the upcoming year. There are other private schools in the area but I am not certain if they are hiring. We have 2 hospitals that are growing so the RN part probably wont be difficult. There are a ton of houses available in Rockwall and probably quite a few in your price range. Come on down and look around. Be sure to visit the Chamber of commerce while you are here.

Good Luck.

I work and live in Rockwall and it is very 'keeping up with the jones'".
i wouldn't recommend it. If we could move right now, i would. That said, I love my school and I love my house, but there are a lot of politics and junk that come up by working and living in the same place.
Good luck to you.

Rockwall is a good area, but I have friends and family that have been trying to get into RISD for 3-5 years and have been unsuccessful. The applicant pools for the school district as well as the new Presbyterian hospital are extremely large and competitive.(I personally think the school district jobs are based a little too much on who-you-know than it should be at the size it is now). But it's much easier to get jobs in surrounding Wylie, Garland, etc and still be close enough to live in Rockwall. The PE/Coach background is always helpful though :)

Of course the RISD and surrounding school district sites are best for your search. The PlanetRockwall.com job board has a lot of openings in the medical field if your wife is searching for a career opportunity here. Best of luck with your search and relocation.

Why move here, this place is going to implode. They don't know what they are doing traffic wise, weaving Hwy 205 stupidly and over building houses and businesses beyond the capacity of the roads. The city and county are taking some very big bets with all the foreclosures that these new houses will sell. And what about the crime and the drugs at the schools? Has not broken out past the local media, but it eventually will not be contained.

I rather would live in an area where I can see the dirt and the problems, rather than an area where its kept completely under raps and under the radar.

Please go ahead and move to that area. We are happy to see you go.

Daily Horoscope for November 16

Taurus

Today's New Moon gives you a chance to improve your relationships, but beware of people who are deceiving you. Someone you trust may have proverbial feet of clay, so try not to be too disappointed. If you enter each new relationship with your eyes wide open, you can avoid the disillusionment that comes with wishful thinking.
