I hope it's another pizza place.lol I do hope someone bought the building and is not renting again. Whoever owns or owned it was always causing businesses to leave. From what I heard, they would rent the place out, let them stay there, get established and then jack up the rent. If they were doing good, they paid up until the price just became completely out of hand and then they were forced to close their doors. I also heard the selling price was ridiculously high.

Heard good things about the one in Rowlett. How close are they? Maybe they will get it open in time for some of the football playoff games being played at the stadium.

If this P&L can get their liquor license I'm afraid it will put a hurting on Arboledas. While their food is awesome most people love to have margaritas with their mexican food. And last weekend when I was at Arboledas the license process is taking a very long time. Too many churchs on Main Steet.

From what the mayor has stated on here. They are exempt from the church rule.

I know I thought I remembered reading that on here and I also told the owner that a month or so ago, but when I came here to find where the mayor said that I couldn't find it to take it back up to him for proof. They are being told that all of the other restaurants were grandfathered in, but they opened up to late to qualify for the grandfather clause.
They need to expand so if the license can't be worked out maybe they can move to a bigger location.

I have to agree on this one. And as small as the building is there will be no way to escape it.

I've been going to Poncho and Lefty's for a very long time and never had a problem with smokers. I think you will find they serve a large quantity of really good food at a fair price.

I have to agree also. I just quit recently and the smell repulses me. I never realized how obnoxious the smell was to non smokers until now.

Our city hall is familiar with bending the rules and will offer any type of variance, so having a rule book in our city is like having a grocery store.
