The 1st Baptist church of Royse City mailed me and invitation to their VBS.

I mailed it with a thank you message and three gospel tracks.

Those three tracks were found in my front yard this morning. They're in good shape and I'll use them again. Someone just threw them out their window into my yard.

I know Chad has thrown a track back in my yard that I've given him before. Perhaps he did it this time as well.

Is this childish behavior typical for Baptists?

They have probably tried to reason with you before and were simply laughed at or insulted by you.
I would have thrown the Tracts back in your yard too. After tearing them up.

Bottom line is that no one in that little town has any respect for Heath as a person much less a so called preacher. Everyone has his number and he is considered pathetic. Respect of others goes a long way, Heath. Since you have none for anyone out of the coc, it all comes right back to you.

It’s just common human decency not to throw something in someone’s yard and drive off like a coward. The person could have called me or came up to my door and knocked and given the tracks back. They could have come with their Bible and shown me where I'm wrong.

What are you Baptist affraid of?

You?? Heath?? Daring to talk to others about "HUMAN DECENCY"?? What the heck do you know about human decency?

Gotta puke....get me the pepto bismal.
You don't even have the respect of those that know you, Heath. That's pitiful.
You've made a career out of being a nitwit, haven't you?
Something to do in a small town, I guess...

And what do you do when that happens?

You run away...throwing insults over your shoulder as you run...

I've invited you to call me and talk to me on the phone. You lack the courage to even do that.

??
Is your phone etiquette better than your internet etiquette? Why would I need to call you on the phone? If you care to make some sense in a decent manner, do it right here...

I'm just following your example.

You do see yourself as more enlightened and more mature than I, right?

It doesn't take being a baptist to see that it is childish behavior. After reading your comments on these threads, however, it appears you run a pretty good race in that contest as well.

There is one thing you have in common with the baptist pastor. You are a pastor. So pastor your church, Heath. It really is a full time job. Your church would be better served if you quit slinging mud at other christian organizations in our community and get busy ministering - to the members of your congregation.

"You are a pastor."

No I'm not a pastor. I'm a preacher. There's a biblical difference.

This is a prime example of why I'm on topix. Many people accecpt as truth things that are not so according to biblical teachings.

The Bible uses Elder, Presbyter, Overseer, Bishop, Shepherd, Pastor interchangeably and they all refer to a single office in the church.
Local churches appoint their own plurality of elders using 1 Timothy 3, and Titus 1 as guidelines for the qualifications (Acts 14:23; 20:28).

I'm a preacher, also know as an evangelist (2 Tim. 4:5).

"Your church"

Not mine. It's the Lord's church (Acts 20:28).

"quit slinging mud at other christian organizations"

I sling truth at nonchristian religious organizations such as the Baptist and Methodist. These are churches of men.

I have been a born again Christian since 1958. I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour and was baptisted in the Baptist church. I later married a wonderful lady from the Methodist church, who is also a Christian, and moved my membership to the Methodist church. I have been a member there now for forty years. I hate to disappoint you but I will be in heaven after my spirit leaves my earthly body. I pray that some day you get to know Christ as I have and can live a more fulfilling life. Please don't let the name on the sign out front of any church continue to eat away at your happiness. God never intended for you to be that way. If you can't win others to your ways God says wash your hands and move on. I'll loan you the soap because I do still care about you and love you as God has commanded me to do. Peace be with you.
Thankful for grace

I guess being known as a litter bug is something the Baptist preacher in Royse City,Tx. does not mind.

A preacher should be a good example to the people, not a litter bug. Plus it is disrespectful. Get right down to it that is probably why he threw those tracts in your yard.

He was most likely laughing as he drove off,but on judgment day his smile will turn to a frown forever.

I hope he repents.
