Pros: awesome views, access to nature, cheap cost of living, very nice people, low to non-existent crime
Cons: weak technology infrastructure, aging population, meager economy, weak school system, small town drama
If you're a political liberal you may not love it... I see you're from Kansas though so it may not be an issue. Very conservative town.

I suggest you have a job lined up before moving here too.

I think I would enjoy it there. I can do my job from any computer, but I need low cost of living.
Friendly people would be a nice change of pace. As long as it is very rural, and somewhat conservative, sounds nice.
Just stay out of the line of fire if I see a cougar in my front yard!
