Prison sentence for notable defense attorney Sam McCloud for tax fraud

Widely knownA Shakopee defenseA attorney Samuel McCloud was facing possibly two to three years in prison for hiding nearly $600,000 in income from the government, but he received a lower sentence today from federal courtA Judge Patrick Schiltz.

I worked for this man and I can tell you he been set up and got into lots of problems mainly the reasons have been his x. What man does not like a young fem 23 but the problem was she was on drugs and ran around . She told on him.... Do people think Martha Stewart was a bad person ? I think Sam will come out of this better then he came into all of this mess. He is a good guy that has helped me for free in the past and is a great man . Do not listen to all the bull shit people say about him because they just want to talk crap. I know him and I tell you this he would help any one in need.

I also know him and he is not a good man. He has done many great things for many people in need but he deserves the consequences for his actions. He does indeed smoke pot so he totally lied about that one. I've been to his house and witnessed with his children.

He is my dad. I'm thirteen and he is a wonderful man. You may know him as a lawyer, but I know him as a dad. In all my years I've only seen him cry once... Right before he went. He's out now and doing well. So anyone who says hes a jerk, your wrong.
