Can someone please explain to me how the All Stars for Little League are chosen? I was under the assumption that it had something to do with batting average but I'm beginning to think it has everything to do with who the parents are. My son played a heck of a season and his batting average was very high. He wasn't picked for All Stars and was devastated! He's young so he eventually got over it but I noticed the coaches and their kids were all picked even though they struck out most of the time. I'm not saying my son is a pro player by any means. In my opinion, it's not fair how they are picked. If someone could explain this to me, that would be great! Thank you!

I think you need to contact the LWLL board and ask. I thought they were recommended by their coach from the season and ultimately chosen by the all star coaches. But I could have been told wrong. It never hurts to ask.

I believe it costs money under the table to get picked for all stars. Do you remember how Forrest Gump got to go to regular school? That could be goin on!

I know three school officials that lost $20,000.00 each because they moved three teachers/administrators for no apparent reason other than the fact that they did not like them! Happen not to long ago!

I have heard that's exactly the best way to get your kid on all-stars. Give a little up to one of the coaches and your kid gets on th all-star team......of course some of those coaches don't look to bad, it might be worth it TeHe!

I can see it now....coaches eyeing up those mamas sitting in their lawn chairs watching practice and the coaches discussing which one of these mamas want their baby boy to an "all-star"......tehe tehe now thats funny!

Why do you think all the mammas bring their lawn chairs to practice? So they can show their goods and get their little boys and girls a good spot on the team!

Are you all ready for the same old crock of crap the LWLL will be dishing out this football season? If it's run anything like baseball was, then it'll be a mess for sure.

My son played football for Lee West last year and it was a complete mess!! I debated on whether to sign him up in Pennington this year just because they were a little more organized. I love Big Dennis to death but he can't run anything!!

OK, practice starts in March, Moms just remember how to get your boys on the all-star team, and it doesn't cost you a dime and takes only a few minutes a week!
