STOPGreenUSARecycling!! We need our own website to promote this!
Someone needs to file an OPEN Record request with Lee County Gov. or the IDA (Freedom Information Act) which requires 'them' to disclose ALL INFO within 5 days. If this is done tomorrow, you will have it in your hands for the Oct. 11th meeting!!
Then, my friends, all your questions will be answered on this document. BREDL will help you get the Charter and has been in business 30 years fighting stuff like this.
Folks in Lee County, stop and think .. they have taken your farms, your homes, and now your heritage is next. PLEASE GET with your friends and families and get to that meeting on OCT 11th!
Massive numbers is needed to STOP this.

I have mixed emotions over this. IF, in fact GreenUSA is legit, the recycling would be great. After reading your posts, I googled them and watched their video. Burying and burning out waste isn't helping our water or environment. Which does more environmental damage landfills or recycling centers? Yes, a lot of trash will be shipped in here and after sorted and recycled, shipped back out too. It's not like it's going to stay here and pile up.
I also read where the company was trying to get a site in 2010 and I couldn't find any outcome. I couldn't find any sites that they own/run. I read somewhere that the co. Announced their groundbreaking here long before the ida vote.....and while ignoring citizens request and questions. When something is done behind my back, such as this, I feel deceived and nothing good come from deception.
Green USA Recyling website is one of those fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants websites. You're wasting your time looking at it because you will not find ANYthing about the company because it's like a BROKER.
Remember.....the the EPA would haev all the skinny because someone in Lee County would have to had file an EPA Licensee to open a recycling plant operation. Also, Lee County Gov. or IDA group would be on the legal docs (Fed Loan Doc) to fund and build such a plant. Also REMEMBER that IDA has to answer to the taxpayers of Lee County and we don't have to settle for this garbage.

Test website? It appears that a high school kid could come up with a better website than theirs. Much research and nothing to be found on their supposed facilities in Knoxville and Indianapolis. There is too much ambiguity to continue with this deal until diligence has been performed by our officials. I'm all for jobs coming to the county but this seems sketchy at best.

It's ironic that everyone is opposed to others trash. When your trash is trucked to someones community.
If this facility works, it could save taxpayers in Lee County millions of dollars. If not for a drunken Nun, and
a lot of outside left wing nut jobs, we would have had a free landfill in Lee County 15 years ago. Same Nun & outsiders are up front again. Take another drink & SHUT UP.
I'm as conservative as the day is long and i'm against this until more information is given. Sunshine on these dark dealings would quell the questions. Something doesn't smell right about this deal and it's not the garbage they are bringing.....

Lee County is never going to attract anything worthwile once this facility locates here. This will actually deter more industry from locating here. No one wants this in their county, but green usa found a bunch of idiots (the ida)who fell for his bs. Barlow Newman has no credibility or business acumen to make these types of decisions. He wears short sleeve shirts with ties for gods sake. Then we have uninformed people like road hog who hear the word job and lose it. Hey road hog how a bout go get an education and get a job that dont ruin the county for the rest of us. I can tell by your statements that not much is going on upstairs. Anyone who thinks this is a good thing is a an idiot. We have karst topography here in lee county(go look it up road hog)meaning bad stuff goes to our ground water instantly. that will destroy our farming economy and hope for future development with good jobs, not this nasty stuff. Some people still think its 1940. Wake up lee county this is just the modern form of industrialist from elsewhere trying to exploit us.

To Lee Co Citizen if you would take the time to check you facts you would find that Mr. Willis is more green thinking than most people. And If you believe bad stuff will instantly go to our ground water and destroy our farm economy your the idiot. Well maybe you just don't understand what the word instanly means.

If you think the IDA did this on their own then you are so vain. A couple of the board of supervisors were in on it to. A reliable source told me that Bailey was all for it and was pushing the IDA members to approve it. A snake in the grass in his own district.

Road Hog is most likely Mr. Green USA Reclying himself. I'm not trying to be funny ... just can't imagine anyone in their right mind would be for such a business in Lee County!!!

Hello Indy, it’s about time you showed up and you are right. Mr. Willis is more green thinking than most people in Lee County, especially if he can get his hands on $million$ of Fed Grant money (Taxpayers $). Hopefully IDA can enhance the value of the green plant and get a few extra dollars for the good citizens of Lee County. We know what the science behind 30 year old landfills and the toxic hazards they create. We have zero science on Green USA Recycling Plant Inc. because Rose Hill will be the first site for Mr. Willis on Planet Earth if the good citizens Lee County will allow. I believe Incineration is a verb and Incinerator is a noun, so everyone Google up and see what the EPA says about the bad boys.

Thank-you, I believe we now know who Mr. Green USA Reclcying, employee #2 out of the 3!! You can't even spell 'instantly' correctly.

Mr. Willis is 'green' thinking all right .... taking those greenbacks all the way to the bank!!!

Really, Indiana Jones, that's the best you can do??? You enjoy calling people idiots? You may think Lee County citizens are idiots but just wait until Oct 11th and see who will be 'turning GREEN' and seeing 'RED'!!

Can't imagine you as a coal miner. Believe you are a 'snake in the grass'. The GREEN grass....get my point?

Take a listen and share with Mr. James!! I saw this somewhere and it's worth repeating: Since the county thinks $$millions of dollars with a recycling green plant, why can’t Mr. James display the business plan & financials on the IDA website for the taxpayers too review, including the physical plant layout and engineering plans as well as the ISO numbers. The FEDS/DOE/EPA will required all this stuff before the county is permitted, why hide behind non-disclosures???

Just hush. Like all of Lee Co.'s welfare checks are delivered to 24281 and all the other towns have made America's Top 10 Model Cities.

All that trash will be coming down the one major road in the county.
The road will wear down fast with no money to repave it, trash will fall out of the trucks and get every where along the way. All the Green USA and IDA have is a dream. Someone else once had a dream about making big money on shrimp farming in the county. Throughout history industy blows into the region, grabs the resources and cheap labor, leaves with the resources, guts the environment, and the local communities end up holding the bag.(empty at that)
About the only thing Lee Co. has going for it is the scenery, don't let someone destroy it.

And how many job does the "scenery" employ? How much money does "scenery" make everyone in the county? If you think that the EPA and DEQ are going to let this thing become a BIG POLLUTER then I have some oceanfront property in Northern Lee County for you all.

Check it out. They are offering franchises of the unknown. I saw where 'Jolly Rancher' asked about the company on the Montana topix. I couldn't find any info on the other company Mr Willis founded. His info says he attended Purdue and is located in the Indianapolis area. The Montana deal was in 2010 and no reports that it went though or is there now. It looks worse the more I find. The saddest part is that this is a done deal.
Politically, we should make a strong statement to the appointed IDA. We should get rid of all appointments and put them to public vote immediately. Being appt'd, they are only acountable to whomever appt'd them. Let's make the IDA accountable to all Lee citizens.!
Here's the link where Don Willis in 2010 pulled the same scam with the council in Billings, Montana and the council was smart enough to smell a rat. Lee county gov. and IDA should have checked this man out first....or did they go seeking him???

Click on link and scroll down the page or ctrl/f to type in Willis.
