Record temperatures sizzle Austin again; medics warn of heat dangers

There were long lines to get into Barton Springs Pool. Heat safety for people and pets Austin hit another record temperature Friday for the fourth day in a row.

That may be so, but so far Austin has tied or broken about 10 (+/- a day or so)high temperature records in the last 2 1/2 weeks. It sure isn't comfortable outside around here..

But I just don't remember how we survived without it!

I think the heat wasnt as hard on us when we were younger...we played, rode bikes, skated all day long in the summers....sheesh, now I feel the heat even when Im in the pool.
