Progressives are not the solution, they are the problem, and have been since the 1920's. People keep trying to blame all the problems in America on Bush alone, but they go back quite a bit farther than just the last 9 years. Progressive policies have been a major contributor to the ill's we all face today.

Is this Doc Davidson guy obsessive-compuslive, or what?
He's been pounding the same key for years in the LDNews. We get it, Doc. You want to put yourself out of business. How do the rest of the partners in the practice feel about it? None of them ever seem to write. How come? |

Mr Kaufman
Are you talking about the same Charlie Jones who caused such a big deal about Meleaniae Hain exercising her Constitutional rights? Whether you agree or disagree with Meleanie's choice is irrelevant, I'm questioning the reaction of someone who is supposed to know and uphold the law to try to use his political clout to suppress the rights of a law abiding citizen. Someone who feels qualified to run for Judge should know the law well enough to know that she wasn't doing anything illegal. Someone who feels qualified to run for Judge should also realize that using his political clout to repress an individual's rights could lead to a law suit that will cost the county's taxpayers and elected officials a lot of time and money to fight an unnecessary battle that it will surely lose, and cost the individual a lot of money, time and aggravation to stand up for their rights. I think poor judgment was used in that situation and I think that ego and a feeling of power was the motivation behind the way Mr. Jones handled it. If that's the same Charlie Jones then I'll say that based on his actions in the past he is someone who may very well let emotion and personal feelings get in the way of good judgment. Is that the type of person we want judging legal cases that can and will affect every one of us in one way or another? Stop and think for a moment, whether or not you agree with what Meleanie did isn't the issue here, it's the reaction of an individual who took it upon himself to violate the rights of an individual and cause undue hardship based on his emotions at the moment rather than the legality of the situation. If you did something perfectly legal and found yourself in front of a judge for it would you rather have a judge who is known for acting on emotion and personal preference or someone who knows and interprets the law as it is written and intended to be enforced? If this isn't the same Charlie Jones I stand corrected and apologize, if it is I ask everyone to consider the consequences of handing a Judicial position to someone with that mindset. I'll be voting against this republican candidate unless someone can verify that he isn't the same Charlie Jones who's lack of judgment escalated a minor difference of opinion into a political and legal battle a little more than a year ago. |

I am sick and tired of hearing how good of a coach, church member, or father Charlie Jones is. No one talks about his leagal abilities and no one talks about his views on issues that he may have to rule on. Someone once did, but saddly her voice has been silenced.
Where does Charlie Jones stand on the issues? As a voter, that is what I care about! |

For however much Dr. Davidson wants a single-payer health insurance system, it surely must be obvious to him by now that Obamacare, and all the crap that's coming out of the House and Senate, has nothing to do with health insurance anc everything to do with restrictive governmental control of one-sixth of the US economy, not to mention control of population.
