Ok so I did a little test with my gas guzzling jeep and was pretty surprised.
Twice with non ethanol gas my jeep got an extra 50 miles on a tankful of gas.
Much to my surprise I actually saved money by paying a bit more for non ethanol gas, here's what I wound up with-

At a local BP I put in 18gals @10% Ethanol and went 290 miles.
290 18 = 16.1mpg
The next time I filled up at Volco 18gals Non Ethanol and went 340 miles.
340 18 = 18.8mpg
The non ethanol gas cost me about 20 cents a gallon more than ethanol gas or about $3.50 more a tankful.
$3.50 is about 1.1 gallons of gas at the current ethanol price of $3.20/gal.
At 16.1mpg I would have to buy an additional 3.1 gallons of ethanol gas to go that extra 50 miles costing $9.60
$9.60 -$3.50 =$6.10 savings on a tank of gas using non ethanol. That's almost $290/year savings.
Convinced me to start using non ethanol gas in all my vehicles.

Did a little price shopping today and the Washington County Farmer's Co-op was selling non ethanol gas for $3.22/gal only 5 a gallon more than the $3.17 I see most of the ethanol gas selling for. That's $1 more on a 20 gallon fill up jumping my savings up to $8.83 on this tank of gas. Gotta like that!!

Roadrunner and Quickstop treat their employees like dirt? I always thought conveniece stores were all basically the same.

It's not the government that's putting that crap into our food, it's the mega-corporations cutting corners to make bank with their cheap Chinese chemical fillers.

I tested this idea and got an extra 45 miles on a tank of gas in my blazer. The farmers co-op seems to be a lot cheaper then volco.
