There are many caring, qualified veterinarians out there who haven't practiced illegally without a license. Do your research carefully before you ever trust a pet to this office.

Shut up you dumbass. The man was without a license technically for practically no time at all due to clerical oversight reasons, not because he isn't a good vet. You're just some childish piece of sh*t who has some personal erk with him and is out here trying to make things appear other than they are by manipulating half truths. The fact is the man is currently licensed, a great vet, and a nice guy.
Why don't you grow up, shut up, and get a life.

I have read many post on several sites about Dr. Dalpiaz. I worked with Dr. Dalpiaz while he was a vet tech at Robison Animal Hospital, and also when he practiced there, too. I live a block away from Robinson's but I just made an appt. to take my new baby to Dr. Dalpiaz. Dr. Dalpiaz is a wonderful, caring and intelligent veterinarian. He worked his butt off to get where he is. All of my family used to go to Robinson's. Now we all go to Dr. Dalpiaz. We loved both him and Dr. Dotson. Dr. Dalpiaz isn't perfect, no one is. He has met me on a Sunday night when he worked at RAH to put my dog down. And didn't charge me. He put my beloved companion of 15 years down in Feb. and was very caring and supportive. I don't care who built or paid for that building he is in. His staff that I have met are extremely professional and nice. I am not a relative of his and I do not work for him. I think some of the negative comments are from isolated experiences and some are from Dr. Robinson or his people. Dr. Robinson lost a lot of clients when Dalpiaz and Dotson left. The way Dr. Robinson and his wife run that clinic leaves a lot to be desired. Dr. Dalpiaz is doing it the right way. I won't go anywhere else...

I think all of this is a personal thing, Dr. Robinson fired Dr. Dotson and Dr. Dalpiaz got wise when he saw how RAH works. He started building a clinic while still working at RAH, Dr.Robinson found out and fired him too. I know for a fact that Dr. Robinson is jealous of the nice facility that Dr. Dalpiaz has. I too used RAH when it first opened, it was a great facility with caring and nice people. If you go to RAH now you see a different face all the time. Many are rude and seem uneducated about pets. I was terribly upset when a male tech about eight years ago brought my cat to me in a fish net. I also was told the pratice was mismanaged and it was just a money racket for his wife.

I take my pets to Boone's Creek Animal Hospital. I do like the doctors but I am worried that the prices at the clinic have gone overboard. I was shocked when I took my two dogs for their annual shots, heart worm tests and heart worm medicine and the bill was about $500. I recently took my cat for blood work. She was prescribed some medicine and food the bill was over $250. I take care of my animals and will pay for what they need but when I am paying the bill I am disheartened of the possibility that I am paying for the new babies college education.

Dr. Dalpiaz is in it for the money! His prices for vet services are the highest in the area. Unless you are very wealthy I suggest you look elsewhere.

Tim Dalpiez is a really good vet and genuinely concerned about your pets well being. I take my pets there because I choose to. The last time I checked we live in a democracy which allows individuals to visit any vet clinic they choose. We all obviously have computers and a phone, use them. Call and ask general rates, etc. The old adage is true......you pay for what you get. If you want cheap prices you get cheap service!

I think most are too expensive, I would love for a clinic to open that was reasonable and put some of these over priced ones out of business. At least Dr. Dalpiaz has a nice, new, and clean facility. You sure can not say that about Robinson's clinics, they are old and run down and still too expensive.

Yesterday I called to setup an appointment for Dallas to get his shots. I decided Boones Creek Animal Hospital. I was leery of going there because last time I went they quoted a price over the phone and after they did everything the price was totally different. But I wanted to give them another chance because other people spoke so highly of them. I asked the girl over the phone what the cost would be. I told her that I would be taking my dog to PetsMart for training and they required all his shots. I also said this would be his first time getting shots and seeing a vet. She quoted me $80. I asked "are you sure" she said "well,$70-$80 and that includes everything :The exam room, tests, and shots." Well, when I went to checkout the price was $124.63. I asked what the additional charges were. Mind you this was a different lady than who I spoke to over the phone....She went back to check. She came back and said that it was for the fecal and heartworm tests"but those are standard". I said "if they are standard then they should have been in the price she quoted me over the phone." She then told me that's just the price. I told her I refused to pay that and she told me I would have to leave my dog. I then asked to talk to the Dr. She went to the back and said it would be just a min. The police then showed up. When I asked to speak the the woman that I spoke to over the phone they refused and said it didn't matter. The Dr. said that was the price so I had to pay it. The police said I had to pay it and take them to civil court. Well, That's just what I am going to do. Yes, it's just $44 difference but its the principle. They quote a lower price to get you in and then charge you more because they know once they do the services you have to pay it.

The same thing happened to me at Boones Creek Animal Hospital and Dr. Dalpiaz. I was quoted one price for service over the phone and my bill was about $60.00 more when I checked out. They are bad to convince the pet owner that more tests are needed for a diagnosis when they are not necessary. I looked on my bill and was even charged $10.00 for clipping my dogs nails that was not needed or requested. Good luck with your civil suit and I can't believe they were going to hold your dog hostage. My advice to anyone thinking of using this vet is to bend over and take it when you see your final bill because you're going to get $crewed!

I disagree with this statement, I feel that Dr. Dalpiaz is a very caring and respectfull person. I recently took my 13 yr old lab mix in because he was acting very strange, Dr. Dalpiaz was very caring and had to do a lot of things to find out what the problem was, before each thing he did he talked to us about it, gave us a run down on the cost and it was our decision on whether to proceed. If you can't afford to pay for your pets health care then I suggest you do not get a pet. You pay for your heath care cost, so why complain about the cost of your pets heatlh
