Waste of time to call Rusty Crowe,he is employed by MSHA and is probably why the vote was a done deal from the beginning.

I agree with you "Anne Onymous". It appears that "the vote" should have used a "comma" to distinguish Sue Jean from being an "idiot", but lack of the comma makes "the vote" post accurate. He/she is probably in a coma by not using a comma. Go get-um "the vote". No matter - Sue Jean has appointed herself to any/all boards for the ego & power and that in itself is scary.

Rusty Crowe is just as corrupt. He called Dr.James Goss personally on behalf of Dennis the menace wanting to know why he preferred doing surgery in Erwin rather than Johnson City.
Seems no gallstone goes unturned. It's about people not politics. I asking fur yur vote.

the erwin hospital is just a band aid station now....and it always will be...we don't have enough population here to warrant a full service hospital, just like we don't have enough population to get the good restaurants...at least if the band aid station is owned by MSHA, a heart attack victim can be transferred to JC instead of bristol or kingsport....surely you knuckleheads didn't really believe welmont would build a full service unit here did you?? and besides, welmont was offering cash too....i guess all the MSHA people would be on here crying if the vote had gone the other way....you all know as well as i do that you would still go to JC for the big problems just like we have always done...just like we do for the good restaurants...this is erwin, never gonna be any different...if you don't like it, either move or get used to it. just like walter cronkite used to say...that's the way it is

unicoi county should just sell the whole county, city, town to Johnson City after all that sorry ass board sold the one and only thing that we the citizens had left ..........our right to a CHOICE of medical treatment!!!! May you board members that voted for MSHA....have to be treated there one day and may you all get the STAPH....you all will get what you deserve....maybe not today or tomorrow but time here on this earth is short and God is not gonna stand for all the wrong that these board members have done.....money makes worms do the craziest things even if it is worth their souls....tell us all board members how it feels......when your layin there sick .....is that money gonna save you all? NO.... your just gonna have to give to MSHA to comfort you......just call your good friends at the head of MSHA....he might save you.....but I dought it........lol funny how you all will see what you have done.....good luck with your decision making....hope you all sleep well at night

I can't answer all of your question, perhaps someone else can. The late Dr Monroe was Mr Tilson's father-in-law. I am not sure what function the foundation does for the hospital. It was set up many years ago in Dr Monroe's memory.

I have had all of my surgeries except one at JCMC and so far, I have never contracted staph or any other infection there, and pray that I never will, because they are my hospital of choice.

Staph at the JCMC is the reason so many people are going to other hospitals for surgery.

I would be willing to bet that Sue Jean Wilson appoints herself as she has to every other board in the county, and the lame election commission does nothing but say "it's OK" because its Sue Jean and she wants to serve. Funnnnny - but real & Sad!!!
Sue Jean is already on the board she can't be on it twice.

Google the Harmon L. Monroe Memorial Foundation, Inc.
I believe that Mr. Tilson and/or his wife, serve the foundation in some capacity.
Since Mr. Tilson apparently was instrumental in running our hospital into it's over-six million dollar debt, I hope, for the foundation's sake, that it's his wife who's involved.

I've seen & heard a lot of people going on and on about this deal with the hospital. They've had prayer meetings, urged people to pray and so forth. Hey, reckon maybe the good Lord answered ur prayers ? Reckon this could possibily be his will ? U people talk a good talk, but if it don't go ur way look out ! Reckon it just be possible that u could be wrong, huh. Guess what I'm trying to say is, if u ain't willing to accept the Lords will don't be asking for him to intervene in the decission making.

You make great points "Erwin". The key is for people to get off their ass and go vote. That is the only real thing left that will change things here in Unicoi County.
I saw the newly elected Mayor(Doris Hensley) Russell Brackins and Roland Bailey cars at the City Hall yesterday. Wonder if they want back on the Hospital Board?

Where was her husbane Bill he will be the one helping to run the show, this town is screwed. The hospital board, the school board, now the mayors office. Don't we have any qualitifyed and honest people that we can vote for in this town?
