Johnson City has 3 trees that tower as champs

There are 2 comments on the The Tennessean story from Jan 10, 2013, titled Johnson City has 3 trees that tower as champs. In it, The Tennessean reports that:

Maple St., she probably didn't imagine that it would get so tall, or that it would be among three trees in Johnson City to be named state champions by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture's Forestry Division.
