Let me start by saying, I am not an officer, sleeping with an officer, nor related to an officer. I have lived in Jonesboro most of my life, and have never been harrassed by the police. I do like I am supposed to and abide by the law. Back to my point though. I have been to the police department on a few occasions and find myself wondering...what town computers are you referring to? The only tax dollars are being wasted by city hall, not the police department. It is all of you who call needing help because your drunk husband is hitting you and you want him gone just to take him back the next day to start your loop all over again. Or the parents/grandparents calling because your child/grandchild is doing something that you dont want them doing so you call the police to teach them a lesson, a lesson I might add that good parenting would have already taught them. These are just a few of our tax dollars wasted. Calling the police day after day for the same bull...the officers are doing their job when they get there time and time again. You all complain when they make themselves known around town doing what they are paid to do, but just wait, you will need them one day and the men and women you are complaining about now will be the ones tending to ya'lls sorry asses when you're in trouble. So just think about it...
