Heís busy campaigning at a 9-11 Memorial rally.

If anyone has relatives or friends in the warning area, here is some great advice from someone who has been thru it before.

Take the time to photograph every room in your home from every angle. Photograph all your drawers, closets, etc. Insurance companies will accept photographs as reciepts making it easier (and quicker)for all parties to settle your claim.

Insurance adjusters will tell you that nobody ever documents their personal belongings and photographing them is the next best thing.

Use your dishwasher as a storage compartment. Itís basically waterproof and its anchored.

Pass this on to those you know who might can use this advice.

dishwasher? waterproof? you mean the appliance that directly has a water hose hook to it to wash dishes? horrible advice.

Dishwashers are not anchored appliances. They are installed via (usually) two small screws that attach to the counter top above.

Just giving you the real information. Anchoring means to secure FIRMLY in position. I can assure you those 2 little screws less than 1/2" in length will not secure anything FIRMLY.
They have known for days its coming... still days before it hits, If its important enough and small enough to try and put in a dishwasher ... take it with you

When the dishwasher is turned off, it shuts that valve, cannot be opened until there is electricity and the switch is turned on.

Right, but they are anchored, more so than most people s refrigerators, microwaves, convection ovens, etc. because of the screws, and their under-cabinet designation, they will not float away like other appliances.

Don the Con needs to do a better job with this hurricane response than that abortion he called a success in Puerto Rico.

That Puerto Rican Mayer is a hottie. Most people recognize her in her 1940ís model eyewear and wearing no makeup. Sheís quite the looker when sheís not standing in 2 feet of flood water.

She will probably end up in the States, running for higher office.
