I have been on the phentermine pills, I actually have like 20 left from October, but after you take them for a while, they dont work for you, in my case I took them in 2006 and 2007 lost about 40 pounds and gained the weight back, they stopped working for me I have to take them for about 3 days and then get off them for about 2 or 3 months and start back for about 3 days, so its defeating the purpose, I am overweight, depressed, cant breathe, and need to get this weight off me and I wish I know of someone in Memphis that has taken the pills, because all the reviews are from arkansas!!! I have yet top to see a review where someone is negative, well i take that back the lady from california up top!! but thats the only one

I was on the Diennet diet about 14 years ago after I had my daughter and I lost 50 pounds in about 5 months and felt great the entire time! I actually had to force myself to eat because I was never hungry on it! The dietary guidelines are very easy...no bread after 10am, no alcohol, and no sweets. Pretty easy. You can still have pasta, rice, and potatoes after 10 but just in moderation. It is pricey but it definitely works. I kept the weight off for many years until recently and that was only because of my own bad eating habits. Just ordered it again!

I went to the Cordova Medical Clinic in February and lost about 10 or 15 lbs...it is now July, and I have only been back to get refills on the phentermine once due to lack of time. I have went from a size 20 to a size 16, but the first month gave me the best results; I was excercing everyday and drinking lots of water, but lately have slacked on both. My friend went to Dr. Kumar for the Dinnet Diet...she lost tons of weight in three months...since you get them in three month cycles, I'm going to go since my time is a major concernt for going to Memphis once a month. I would like to mention again that she did GO to the Dr...i'm sure that if you order anything online it is less guaranteed to work than acutally going to a clinic in person.

I started this diet 3 weeks ago because one of my friends had lost a lot of weight with Diennet and she looked amazing so I called them, I had myself to loose 25lbs. Got my 3 months treatment 3 weeks ago and today I have lost already 13 pounds so I am extremely happy, I feel great and it works.

You get three different pills. Diethylpropion, diazepam/chlordiazepoxide (Valium), & a pill for your thyroid. You take all three pills twice a day. It takes a month from the date you send all info to the institute for them to ship out to you. I'm taking them now...love the program so far!!!

Could you please post a link? Did you have to go to you regular doctor and get a physical exam first? I looked at one web site for this diet and you had to have a form filled out by your dr.

You have to have a physical exam and blood work done. Dr. Banaji in Forrest City does the Diennet diet. Dr. Banaji and Dr. Kumar are the only ones I know of who work with the Diennet Institute. I've done this diet before. It does work. It's expensive. I had no side affects. However, after I went off the diet, I gained the weight back fast.

I have been a client of the Diennett Institute on and off for 20 yrs. The Institute has been in business for over 35 yrs in Beverly Hills. The doctor has zeroed in on hormones and the effects of them being unbalanced. Each client has a prescription designed specifically for them. The pills contain drugs and herbs. They work. Every 3 months you are required to fill out another questionnaire before they create a new formula for you. I don't like the idea of taking drugs, but nothing was working. You do not really have to follow any specific eating plan, but they do suggest something along a lower carb diet, however, you are not restricted from eating pasta. If you continue to eat junk, I'm sure it will not be as effective. The diet is ideal for women in menopause, whose hormones have changed and they can't lose weight. This can all be done through the mail, after you have a specific blood test and fill out an extensive questionnaire. He has treated thousands of patients, comparing results and pretty much knows what is out of balance by asking the right questions and reviewing blood results, which includes thyroid. If you get off the pills and your hormones become unbalanced again you will gain weight. The cost is about $180 a month. It may sound expensive, but when you add up diet food, weight loss classes, supplements and time spent shopping for special foods, it isn't as expensive as it might seem. Diets come and go, and if he wasn't doing something right, he would not have survived in this town for this long. He does no advertising. It is all by word of mouth.

I have done this program 6 times on and off. I was 150lbs 5'2" and the first time I went down to 115lbs in 6 months. It definitely curbed my appetite, and I only ate salads and stayed away from bread. After I went off the diet, I should have gotten the next stage which was these set of pills that helped you maintain the weight and to keep it off. Unfortunately I didnt take those and I gained my weight back. All of it. I started all over again an slowly I could tell that the medicine would change my state of mind. I basically had crazy mood swings and I was practically mental. My metabolism has changed drastically and I've learned that it takes a very long time to change your metabolism the natural way. If you think you have the discipline and a strong state of mind, I would recommend it. If not, please don't waste your money on it. The institute won't be eloping you, they just want your money.

After a friend lost 40 pounds last fall, she finally told me her trick.(she's kept it off, too). Diennet. I contemplated it but it seemed pricey. Also I have high BP. Nothing has worked. Phentermine just made me sweat and my heart race I thought I was having a heart attack!
I finally called this Dr Kumar in Forrest City. Older office but nice staff and nice doctor. Paid $150 cash and he did basic doctor check up and took blood. Had to fill out about a 6 page questionnaire online through Diennet Institute. They received my blood work and called 3 days later to say they received. I put on the questionnaire that I had high bp issues.(you list any meds you're taking).
In about 4 weeks, the pills arrived. They're formulated to you is why they said it takes so long. They look at all your blood levels of everythg and make them to regulate what's 'off' in your system.
I'm on my 4th week of them. I've gone from 187 lbs the day at Dr Kumar's Office and today I weighed 169. I feel great, less tired but don't have that shaky, heart-racing feeling. I have always had a crazy sugar addiction. Sweets are my favorite thing so I was afraid that'd be a problem. I don't know how, but for once in my 40 years of life, I'm not eating dessert and not even really wanting it.

Most "diet" program and pills tell you to eat less and exercise more. For this advice they charge you outrageous prices for pills and potions.

I think that someone else pointed out that weight loss and keeping it off involves a long term life style change.

Trying eating the same foods that you always do, but just eat half or less of each item.

Then try walking at least 30 minutes 4 or 5 times a week for 6 months.

Also eat 5 small meals instead of 3 large ones and watch the snacking. Drink lots of water or non sweet liquids.

Try that faithfully for 6 months and see if you don't lose weight and use the money that you save by not purchasing pills to buy new clothes.

It took time to put the extra pounds on and it will take time to get rid of them
