It's a really strict diet w/ doctor prescribed meds. But i have heard (from friends, of friends, of friends) that you lose CRAZY amounts of weight. btwn 60 and 100 pounds! in 6-12 months! But im not sure of the stipulations, i have heard some people say they just took the medicine while others followed the diet. I was just curious if you didnt follow the diet or work out and all that if it would still work....

I was on it last year...went from 160 to 116 in 2 cycles of pills, which is 6 months. The pills gave me terrible mood swings and made me feel insane. I quit them, and gained ALL of the weight back. The thyroid pill that is included really messed up my metabolism. I've been on weight watchers now for 2 months, stuck to the diet, exercise and I've only lost 4 pounds. I say stay AWAY. I had about 10 friends take it when I was taking it, and they've all gained at least part of their weight back. I did 3 cycles...and now I'm over $1500 poorer...and fat again.

Bless your heart! I have dieted for years too! I have done Weight Watchers, Diet Center, Hi-Energy, Phen-Phen, cabbage soup diet, bootcamp, trim gym, wellness center, body-slim fitness center, personal training plus, slim-fast, and Atkins!! I have learned that it is not a quick fix, it is a life style! I think weight watchers worked the best for me, it's more realistic. Anymore if I hear of a diet that promises quick results I know better than to buy into it. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!!

There is a dr in Forrest City who prescribes it. His name is Dr. Kumar. You pay about $150 or so for the blood work, fill out a LONG questionnaire, and they send it off to Beverly Hills to the Diennet institute, and they in turn mail your pills....but you MUST have someone there to sign for them. So, if you want them sent to your house and no one is home, they won't leave them, so BE SURE to either have someone there to sign for them, or have them sent to work. I had mine sent to my best friend's house b/c she had a nanny at home all day to sign for them. It doesn't matter who signs, just someone has to!!! But all I recommend is to follow the diet, even after you quit the pills! And EXERCISE!!! I think that if I follow the diet and exercised I may not have gained the weight back. And do the maintenance program they recommend, too.

I usually don't write reviews but since I tried the program I felt it is my duty to WARN others
.
A friend of mine told me about the Diennet program (AKA DNA Institute). I couldn't find any reviews on-line so I paid $590 (which included the rush shipment) for the 3 month pill supply.
Before joining they had told me they will give me a refund if the diet pills don't work, so I filled out the questionnaire and purchased the pills.
After two weeks I had not lost a pound, so I called them and told them that. After another two weeks they told me to increase my dosage. It's been over two months and I still have NOT lost even a pound! I eat a very healthy low fat diet and I exercise! I stopped drinking alcohol and increased my exercise. Still nothing! I contacted them again.
I have 1/3 of my pills left so I expected the either refund me for the 1/3 or to change out the meds and give me a different dosage.
Do you know what they told me? They said that if I reorder they will give me a discount - reorder something that doesn't work!!!! Why would I spend another $500 on something that is proven not to work on me?
So save your money cause this does not work. Feel free to contact me with questions!

I started it last summer and lost about 60 lbs. I have kept the weight off for over a year. My other friends that have done it have also loved it and kept the weight off.

I am on and off Diennet program since 3 years, at this time I had to loose 40 pounds and it worked great, lost everything, was feeling so good.
Me too, I have kept the weight off , I am thin , I love it. I always have a set of Diennet pills in case I put on 2 or 3 pounds and in 3 to 4 days I am back on the right weight. I am happy like that.....

Do any of you on/have been on this plan know the name of the pills you are taking? If they are phentermine, like the other poster mentioned, you can save a LOT of money by going to Cordova Medical Clinic in Memphis and get the same thing for $70! I was litteraly in and out of the office the last time I went in under 15 min! Having dieted, exercised, and taken diet pills off and off my entire life have a gained a lot of knowledge about which diets work and which do not. I highly doubt the "diet" in which the Dinette program recommends to follow actually does anything for your weight, it is most likely the pills alone. I would definitely find out the name of them and see if it's the same thing you can get at Memphis...I am positive it is as these pills are the only ones I know of that promote this kind of rapid weight loss mentioned here.
