Try detoxing and you might find that you don't need pain meds to survive.

You're just mad at other people getting prescriptions because that means less of a supply for you.

wow. You are showing classic signs of why docs are finally being forced to stop being the pill pushers for drug addicts. That was a pathetic thing to say to someone.
I hope you NEVER find anyone to give you any more pain meds as long as you live.

Nevermind them. Most people are good at pointing the fingers at others but forget to look at themselves. Look at Rush Limballs.

People who are fortunate enough to not be in pain do not understand.

and people who are addicted to and abuse pain medication ruin it for those who actually need them. If this persons Dr cut their script it's because the Dr is trying to get the person off of the meds, probably because they are abusing them.

Drs are losing their licenses for over prescribing pills. You are not worth your doc throwing their life away for.
It is so easy to tell the fakers, and the addicts. Most likely you will never get another prescription for them again. I hope you don't. Then maybe you will clean up and stop wishing death for other people.

Then why did the doctor give the person the prescription in the first place if later on they are going to say the person is abusing the meds by simply taking the prescribed meds?

SOME people use MORE than prescribed, more OFTEN than prescribed, then start looking for another doctor to write a scrip for even MORE.

They are originally given for, what the Dr thinks, is a legitimate reason. Once they see that the pt is abusing them he (or she) will stop prescribing them. I hope that Arkansas hurries up and implements a state wide (or nation) database for prescribing and monitoring narcotic medication

For some reason?? Hows this for a reason-he's a doctor, he knows what he's doing. Reason enough for most rational people. But drug addicts aren't rational people. You're doctor shopping on topix. Dude, you're a drug addict. Get help.

What if you got herniated discs in your neck and upper back that poke into your spinal cord and you got X-rays and MRIs to prove it? Is this a reason to get a prescription for pain meds? Maybe at least hydros?

I deal with pain every day. Bad knees, back, and have had surgery for both. I work through the pain every day without the help of narcotics. Suck it up and learn to deal with it.
