Once again, just so everyone knows, this is really Marc's mom posting; if you don't believe it, just call the house and I'll be glad to explain it; Jack and I would have loved to have been at the band concert to support Blake and VV just like we supported Zac and our nephew Dylan by being at every VV game, home and away, and that's because we had a schedule; we didn't know about the band concert; it's not like Michelle is going to call us and say "hey, Jack and Tana, Blake is playing in the band concert tonite, please come"; the only game we didn't attend for Zac and Dylan was the senior high they dressed out for because we didn't know about them; Jack and I sit here in the dark about their activities and only find out about them when some kind soul let's us know; we love and support our grandchildren in whatever they do and will be there when we know about it so don't point fingers about something you don't know about; if you were there, why didn't you let us know? you are sure to point out when we are not! we have two other grandchildren under Blake at VV and are supporters of VV and especially all of our grandchildren.
.... I thought that, I have kids at vv and I didn't even know about the concert. I think of you and Jack often, praying all of this is over soon! I drove by Marcs grave the other day just to make sure the butterfly was still there. I know how hard this has to be for Yal, we were just friends of his not family and its always on my mind! I love the kids dearly and pray one day things will be different for Yal! I was impressed that they ask Yal before allowing a plea. I like that:) please just always remember we as his friends loved him VERY Much and feel same as you do ad want all to pay, especially the mastermind! Love always!

<quoted text>I doubt there'd be reason to change venues. I know those that keep very close tabs on what's going on but most of my friends, business associates church family know very little about this case and aren't really all that interested. No disrespect to Marc in anyway. Just most people are dealing with their own lives and this doesn't concern them, other than what they read in the newspaper occasionally.
This very thread (and all the others similar to it) are proof enough that she would likely not get a fair trial in Jonesboro.

Any trial, no matter where it's held, will be more fair than the one Marc got. He was tried, convicted and sentenced to a violent death by a four party lynch mob, without benefit of judge or jury and we're supposed to care whether or not she gets a fair trial? The fact that she's alive and free to enjoy the holiday season and Marc's not is more fair than she deserves.

Regardless of where the trial will land, Marcs parents will be buying a billboard in that very same town as close to the court house as possible!!

I was only going on an earlier statement of yours that you go to games to support VV

I have it on very good standing that his parents will not ever have access to the children regardless of the final outcome. I also know that it is the wish of the children to never see them. Food for thought!!!

I was a juror on two murder trials. I hung one jury and convicted the other. I followed instructions of the court. There are citizens who take their civil duty seriously. We don't ask to be jurors, we are chosen. To assume jurors won't be fair is an insult. To assume fairness can only take place in a different town is also a statement of ignorance. The West Memphis Three were let out of prision because of jury misconduct even though there was a change of venue.

Doesn't matter how many are posting. How many are being influenced by just reading it?

If children always got what they wished for the world would be in worse shape than it's in now. Everyone would have a pony and a puppy and noone would ever have to go to school or get a job. Fortunately, most major decisions aren't made by children, but by those who are older, wiser and have their best interests at heart. You know...like a judge.

If that's the case, that's even better. There is not a judge around that would force them to have a relationship with Jack Despain.

They may change their minds later after their grandparents have a chance to talk to them. They have been brainwashed against them I'm sure!

What will happen here is the children's mother will go to prison or get the death penalty for murdering their father. When the murderer is separated from her children the blinders she has placed over their eyes will slowly come off. Unfortunately for them they will see the monster she has become. They will want a relationship with their grandparents after all this, wait and see!

Wonder if the children will be in the courtroom during the trial? I can see that being a double edged sword for her. On one hand, their presence would elicite a lot of sympathy that she's going to need but on the other hand, the evidence presented will surely change their opinion of her.

I would like to state for your little black book that "IT" won't be there at the kids hearing because "IT" has a date with Bertha in prison!!
