I have a female red bone who needs a new home. She is not adjusting well to living in the city. I would prefer her to have a home in the country where she can run and possibly someone to hunt with her. She is a very good hunting dog. She is currently weening her puppies so she will be ready to go in the next week or so. She is very docile and a great natured dog. She is also up to date on all her shots.

and you have puppies too? but giving away mother? what are you going to do with puppies? PLEASE surrender to a shelter..nafa or NEAHS. do you know how many people 'gather' up these FREE dogs to use a BAIT dogs! NO matter how good 'these' good homes look, they are trained to fool you and pretend to be good homes, then there they go. SOLD to research labs or HERE in town as BAIT dogs. PLEASE have a heart... take to shelter!!! or call NAFA. PLEASE!!!!

The thing you don't know about me is while I may be giving away a dog I won't just give her to the first person who asks. She is a trained hunting dog so the person who gets her will have to have some knowledge of hunting and be able to have proof. Yes she has puppies. They are all going to very good homes where they can be trained from pups to do their jobs. You can judge all you want but shelters are full and there is noone available to help with her. I would rather find her a good home myself than to allow some shelter or nafa to find her a home where they can be fooled the same way I could. You worry about your animals and let me worry about mine. I need to find her a home in the country bc that is all she knows. She is in danger here in town because she keeps getting out of my fenced yard and running loose. There are hunting circuits in this area who might be able to help find her a home to where she can do what she was born to do and they may be able to help find someone who is looking for a good hunting dog

I do still have the puppies. I just chose to ignore the dumb a$$ animal lover who doesn't know anything about me. I have 2 female puppies left and the momma too. They are absolutely precious. The breed itself is amazing and I refuse to let her be adopted out by NAFA or the NEAHS bc the new owners probably won't know anything about the breed and probably won't hunt them. If you really are interested you can email me at stevensfamily at live dot com. I may not get back to you right away bc of the holiday weekend but she hasn't completely weaned the puppies yet. I am just trying to start looking now so that I have time to find the right person to take her.

Obviously you are an animal lover who is very UNknowledgable about what neutering does to the animal. Did you know it stunts the animal's growth? It will never develop as nature intended it to. We have a fixed female dog and she is a mess. We have another that is not and she is healthy and active. When she is in heat I keep her separate. I will never have a dog fixed again. My fixed dog will not live as long as a unfixed dog. When our dog had puppies I made sure they went to good homes. I am still in contact with the families and they send photos to me as they grow. If all animals get fixed - you will be complaining because in order to have a family pet for your grandkids you will be paying thousands of dollars for a dog. As a side have you ever gone to the shelter. It is a stinking mess. The floor was covered with worms from the animals and the workers were just walking over them - no attempt to clean or disinfect

Seriously, you are a moron. Did you ever stop to think about those animals that were in the shelters, instead of worrying about the worms? How they got there? They were unwanted. There are far too many unwanted animals already, everyone that isn't ready to raise a litter of pups, kittens, needs to have their pets neutered/spayed.
I have had many many pets, and I get all of them spayed or neutered. My pets almost always live unusually long lives. People that make excuses like you just did, should not be allowed to have pets, because you are too stupid.

ok so all of u that think u need to spay/neuter r dumbasses. it's ultimately the owners choice if they want their dogs fixed. u can't change their opinion and if im correct there is a thing called freedom of ur opinion in this country. this person is obviously looking for a good home for his/her pets NOT a lecture about how u think he/she is carless and irresponsible. this person is right in not spayin their dog if they dont want to so fuck off and let them do what they do!!!

All of my puppies found new homes last year. We aren't letting my adults breed anymore. No I won't be fixing them either. This breed is very hard to find but I've been told there are a handful of breeders in the region. Try little rock, Manila, and Conway. Those are the only places I know of in Arkansas to get them. You can also check in Memphis. Ours actually came out of Georgia

this has to be one of the most redneck posts I've ever read. Seriously? are you inbred, toothless and living in a trailer watching NASCAR constantly?
