My best friend, Terry Davis is a realtor with Exit Realty and knows every neighborhood well. Exit's telephone number is listed in the yellow pages in Jonesboro telephone book.

There are severalydifferent areas in Jonesboro, I live in the Brookland area and love it. Terra Hills and Tahoe Village off of HWY 351 would fit your square footage. They do have bigger yards if that is what you are looking for.

Be careful when looking in certain neighborhoods and watch their resale value. There are a lot of homes around here that aren't selling in certain neighborhoods

sage meadows, very nice neighborhood, stay away from realtors, look for houses for sale by owner, they can usually drop there prices cause no realtor fees.

you might want to check out some higher end foreclosures. You could really save some money. David Williams at Remax knows all the good ones.

If you have children, choose a school district before you choose a home.

We love it out here. In fact, we have a 4,000 Sq Ft home with 4 bedrooms for sale that we will make you an incredible deal on! SERIOUSLY!!!!

We are downsizing and already have another home here in the same neighborhood! If you'd like to see it, reply on here and we'll find a way to get in touch.

That is about the dumbest statement I have heard on the topic. "Every" school discrit in Jonesboro will get your child a quality education.

Really? What school "discrit" did you graduate in? Seriously, there is NOTHING dumb about choosing a school district prior to buying a home. Some schools are definitely superior to others - in all kinds of ways. Please don't be so quick to judge people.

Eaves Construction has some of the best built houses and best location in Jonesboro! Definately get the most for your money! His subdivision is called East Ridge and it is off of Peach Tree. His houses fit the square footage range you are looking for and the lots are huge!

No, the education IS equal. There are more extracurrilar activities at some than others, but your child will not be any smarter going to one school that another. It doesn't matter which school I attended. I had friends from every school and none of them were at an advantage because of the school they attended. You people need to accept that schools are for learning, and not social status. So my advice to you, New, is to buy a home you are comfortable with and can afford. Don't worry about the school district your child will be just fine wherever you choose.
