I haven't talked to Richard lately, but I've known him since high school. I think the legislative process fascinates him and that he would do a good job of representing the people of this district.(those are my words, not his, and this may just be a rumor.)

I doubt his abilities.

From what I've seen from the representation that we have in Washington right now, it doesn't take much ability. Just the ability to figure out how to scam the hard workers in this country out of their hard earned money, the ability to vote yourself a pay raise and get a hughe retirement and the ability to give to those that won't work whatever they need so they'll vote for you. Shouldn't be too hard!

It would be nice to have someone represent us common trash in the House. Someone (like me) who doesn't own 50,000 acres of rice or beans, or otherwise ride with the 'horsey' set has no voice in America anymore.

Hell, Berry wouldn't even answer my letters, phone calls, or emails. Not even a form letter.

Blanche doesn't either, for that matter...they don't care what us ignorant, unwashed people from Arkansas think. Unless you can write them a 7 figure check.

Why is that new phenom "Balls Itchy" the greatest thing to hit Joneboro? Just listen to the testimony from yet another satified customer:

"I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was, and I look damned good naked!!"---Balls Itchy

Just a comment concerning Richard Walden as a Candidate for the First Congressional District. This will be a breath of fresh air to this campaign which has been six months of the same controlled rhetoric. Having known and dealt with Richard, I have firsthand experience in dealing with him and his businesses. He is forthright and says what he means and means what he says. He is an out of the box thinker and I assure you that if he entered this race he will have a well thought out plan for this campaign plus the organized plan to carry out any promises he makes to the public. He will re-energize this race and make it very interesting from this point on. This is the first Conservative Independent that can really overcome the odds and win this race.

Thank God, we now have an individual in the race that is not a Politician, Lawyer, and Lobbyist. Richard has really created jobs, paid taxes, and has a wealth of experience in Banking, Business, Farming, Insurance, Manufacturing, and the Auto Business. The last time I read the newspaper the Government was in control of all of the above businesses and we certainly could use the help of a real businessman as our Congressman in the First District.
vote them all out

I sure hope you are right. We've been hearing for decades a businessman should be elected for various offices.

Bush was a businessman, and I won't say anymore there. The record speaks for itself. As for the Democrats...I was a registered Democrat for decades, until they decided to represent everyone but ME in Washington. Both parties are corrupt and clueless.

We need some new bodies in the House and Senate. Someone not already bought and paid for (YET).

He just parlayed $1000.00 into $5,000,000.00 in twenty years that's all. Retired at 47 years old with full pull that's all. But your right, his brother did do better with his $1000.00, he turned it into $30,000,000.00. I would invest with either of them. He posted his financials on the Sec of State Web Page in his disclosure. Based on what the other candidates put on their disclosures they couldn't get a good car loan.

Richard Walden of los Angeles leads. Operation U.S.A., one of the world's leading relief agencies and which shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize. I hope the Ark. Walden does not run as he's a conservative republican businessman and the L. A. Walden is a progressive-left Democrat who served as Gov. Jerry Brown's CA hospital commissioner and worked as a civil rights lawyer on some very well-known cases. It would be a shame if Ark. Walden gets credit for. Ca. Walden's work!
