is sage meadows a good place to live? It looks nice but I know it's on the north side of town which seems to get worse everyday.

sage is very nice and you should know the "dividing line" between the good north side of town and the bad north side of town is along highway 141 north, not 351.

Sage Meadows is a very nice place to live. It is north of town, but it is spaced away from the bad part. It is far enough away from the "north side" to not be included in it.

Sage is a joke. Its not all that its cracked up to be. Decide for yourself. Rent for 1 year its worth it to get to know this town better. Your better off not to live in the city limits of Jonesboro.

I HATED LIVING IN SAGE. SEEMED LIKE IT WAS SO FAR OUT AWAY FROM EVERYTHING. OF COURSE, THAT WAS WHEN HILLTOP CONTAINED JUST A GAS/CONVENIENCE STORE... SHOULD BE BETTER NOW WITH ALL THE ADDITIONS.
THE HOUSE WAS NICE AND THE VIEWS WERE GREAT, BUT I PREFERRED LIVING IN CANDLEWOOD ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF TOWN.

Sage has the same kind of people that the rest of the town has. It has nice people and not so nice people. There are hard working people living right beside meth heads in Sage Meadow as with other parts of town. No neighborhood in Jonesboro is immune drug problems and all that those bring with it----even Sage Meadow.

The country club is set to shut down at the end of this year..... Bob has ran out of money. I wouldn't be buying in that area right now.

Fact: It is for sale now.
Fact: Businesses that bleed red ink don't sell.
Fact: Bob doesn't have the unlimited funds to keep it going.
Fact: You obviously know very little about the situation.
Fact: This is not a secret. If you ask him, he will tell you.

I just built in Sage... Is this true? We love it - the pool, clubhouse, etc. When we bought our lot we were told a workout center was coming.

I heard that you had to raise your pinky while drinking and wipe with rose petals in order to live there! That workout center is going to be built right after the polo course is finished and the bridge club gets their sweaters monogrammed.

Hey Dirty Harry, you need to stay on the Little Rock boards if you are going to post stupid stuff like that. You have obviously never been to Sage Meadows. It is very middle class. Houses can be built in Sage starting at $135,000 or so. It is also a public golf course. Nothing about that says polo club, bridge club, or pinky in the air. Stupidity amazes me....

Hey you forget, to some a new trailer park is highclass living.

Never forget what state your living in. Ignornace is the norm.

And some wonder how Ark gets a bad rap.

Thats funny, to think Sage is high class. Its good average living for middle class , but I wouldn't ever say high class. High class is a area on average with houses in the 5-10 mil range, with a minimum of 1-2 mil range, and trust me, there would be absolutely no part open for the public. You will pay for the privacy. The only public that would see any of it, would be the pool cleaners, cooks, the yard mowers, and golf shop workers.

Bob's pissed away most of his family fortune. He's leveraged to the hilt and can't keep the place afloat. To think he's not out of money is just silly. There will be a track mall in front of Sage in the next year as more area is sold off.

All I can say, is if the course closed down, it will grow up and those houses out there will plumet in value. Really sad when you think about it.
