Without a doubt...Diva Nails & Spa is the best salon for nail I've ever gone to! IF you haven't been then you must try it! It's new and lovely...and you are appreciated! Everyone is so sweet and anxious to help you!
Vanessa & Daniel are the owners...they speak great english and offer the latest in pedicures and nails! They are open 7 days weekly! monday thru Saturday 9am-8pm. Sunday they open at noon!
Oh yes...they also do waxing and eyelash extensions...at a fraction of the cost of another spa in town! They are beautiful! You can also schedule an appointment!

They are great. I really love Vanessa. I use to go to Beutiful Nails and Spa, but now I go to Diva Nails instead. They do a much better job and have better quality. I can't wait to bring my bridal party.

They did a GREAT job on my pedicure, and I will continue to go there. HOWEVER, when they went to take the callouses off my heel, they took too much skin off and now it hurts for me to walk. I went out of town Saturday and walked so much my heel started bleeding! Like I said, I will keep going there because they seem really nice and do a good job. But they won't be touching my heels anymore!

How is the prices? I have heard they are lower then others around. I was wanting to have solar nails put on and maybe a pedicure.

No nail tech should ever remove that much of a callous or skin from a client's feet.To do so invites infection. No one should EVER bleed or leave a salon and have pain from having a pedicure. If they do such a good job, this kind of thing won't happen.Be sure you point this out on your return visit.
Callouses are there for a reason. They provide protection according to a certain way people walk and stand, and should be softened but never removed.

Oh, I definitely will be letting them know something. I am going back today for a pedicure and I will tell them not to touch my heels. Let me clarify: my heels did not bleed there, they were just extremely tender. After walking, that is when they cracked and bled. But I will definitely be letting them know!

How fast do your nails grow? In one week mine are needing filled in. I have waited 2 weeks to have them done. But Man! do they grow fast. What says all you girls??? They get to looking ugly by 6 or 7 days after I have them done.

What?! Your heel started bleeding? That is TERRIBLE! And you still went back? Most people would not go back!

I go to get a fill every 2 weeks, I just got mine done last week, I'll be back in one more week, because mine starts growing by then.

I just went there for the first time.. It was awesome I will definately be returning. I don't remember how much I paid at other places but her they have 2 different pedicure packages.
Regular pedicure is $25 includes trim nails, trim cuticles, file, massage, base coat and polish
Deluxe Pedicure is $35 includes all the above plus callous removal, scrub, hot tower and hot rock massage.
I got the deluxe and the hot tower is they put a mask on your feet then wrap your feet with hot towels.. Feels so good.

Solar Nails are $40 for full set $20/30 for refills

They offer other great services and the atmosphere is wonderful.

What does callous removal entail in the deluxe pedicure?

They took a callous removal blade and scraped down on my heel and removed all the dead skin. I have one at home that I have bought at walmart and used it on a callous on the side of my toe.
It doesn't hurt at all..

It is against the law of the Arkansas state board of Cosmetology to use a callous removal blade on your feet. That's the reason I asked, and,I am glad you have replied for all to see.
We were taught this in school, and, only sanitizable pumice items are allowed to remove callouses. No blades.

Really,

I have been to four different nail salons in town and all have used them. You can buy them at Wal-Mart.

They don't reuse the blade.. He put in a new blade right in front of me and when he was done he threw it away right in front of me.
Also while my feet where soaking in the hot towels he then broght the rest of the callous remover to the sanitizer machine and placed it in there..
I think you have been mislead.
