Wanting a nice resturant in town for an anniversary dinner. Ive heard good and bad about both. I do know they are both pricey, but from what Ive heard Omar's has the best steak and Piero's has the best dining atmosphere but the portions are small any other ideas?

I enjoy both, but if it's an anniversary dinner, Piero's would be far better because of the much cozier atmosphere.

If you're looking for a quiet cozy spot, I suggest Pieros. I love Omar's as well, but its always so crowded and if you want to have a conversation it's sometimes a little bit loud. But the food is excellent.

Well looks like so far its Omars for Dinner, thats what Im hearing from everyone I ask, someone also suggested the new Thai resturant downtown, havent eaten there yet so I dont know. And I dont want to spend my evening sipping on a drink to cool my mouth down either, seems like that would kinda spoil the evening...

The Thai place is great and I don't like hot and spicy food. You should try it.

Well just letting the people who were nice to respond. My wife and I chose Omars this evening for out anniversary, and the first time we have visited there. The food was awesome, we had the calimari for appetizer, the best ive ever had, I had the hawaiin ribeye, very tender and cooked perfect. My wife had their night special which was a NY strip cooked in a mushroom red wine sauce, her steak was cooked perfect, but a little tought but not uncommon to get a bad cut. Over all with a couple glasses of wine, the food was out of this world, We will definataly go back. And for the ones who suggested the thai resturant, we chose it for lunch today, again nothing but pure excellence. I would recommend lunch because it is a little pricey, I had the red curry and my wife had the beef salad. Food was great and I would recommend the Thai Iced Tea. Lunch cost about $ 40.00 Dinner however with tip set us back a $100 bill. Still worth it!! Thanks again for the feeback...

People talk about Omar's having good steaks - I absolutely LOVE the steaks at Brickhouse. They are as good if not better than Omar's and I eat Omar's alot. My husband and I support ASU athletics and both basketball and football coach's have their radio broadcast live from Brickhouse Grill every Tuesday. All the food I've had has been extremely tasty, but the steaks are GREAT. I get the ribeye with crumpled bleu cheese, red onions, and mushrooms medium rare with as side of mac-n-cheese which is to die for and it's perhaps the best meal in town and all for well under $20.
