If you want to waste your money and buy diseased fish feel free to patronize this joke of a fish store. Was just told verbatim that they "do not stand behind any of the fish they sell". Conveniently, however, they will gladly offer to sell you the treatment to cure whatever parasite or disease is plaguing the fish they already screwed you on. Not to mention they are ridiculously overpriced. Unfortunately besides Petco there are no other options in Jonesboro. Just a heads up... Stay away!

I purchased a fish from them weeks ago & my fish is just fine. Just because they dont replace fish doesnt mean the fish are "diseased!" I think they're fair & yea a little over priced! I say if you dont like it, shop somewhere else!!

I've bought several fish, saltwater and freshwater with no issues. The staff is very helpful and make it very clear that they can't guarantee your fish will live. As long as you have a healthy cycled system and acclimate your fish properly you should be fine. Aquariums take quite a bit of work and research if you want to do things properly. A lot of people rush in and buy a new tank and load it down, you'll most likely lose most if not all of your fish by doing this. Just be patient, keep trying and testing your water conditions until they're perfect and you'll be a lot better off.

Guess I should have mentioned its an established tank and community of fish. Additionally they tested my water and stated as I already knew that it was fine. At least stand behind what you sell through giving a store credit. Aside from this, they mentioned half of the population of their tanks dying off due to reasons unknown by them. Not to mention half the display tanks appear to be filled with swamp water.

In that case it sounds like you know what you're doing, I hadn't heard about the die off, the guppy tanks looked bad last time I was there. They're a small business but it definitely wouldn't hurt to give store credit.

This is the worse place for fish.... I mean those guys are trying to run a fish shop in one tiny building. The few times I've been in the short guy is telling the white boy what he should do with the money. I go to memfish or shop online....

Regular fathead minnows will catch just as many catfish as those fancy minnows do. Trotline placement is more. Important than brightly colored bait.
