ihave to give equal votes to Terri Smith and Christy Tyler @ craighead nursing center, they are very loving and compassionate to their residents and their families. They go out of there way to keep families informed of their loved ones conditions and needs and treat them as if it were there mother/father, grandmother/grandfathers. I feel they do not get the recognition,salary,time off they deserve. I commend them for all they do for my mother. Please do not get disgusted and leave. I sleep better at night, the days i am unable to make it and call to check on her, if one of the two are there i don't give it a second thought i know they are in good hands. may God bless the both of these kind hearted, giving two individuals.

Tammy Collier, bar none. I've never worked with her, but I was a student of hers. She is absolutely fabulous as what she does. She manages to keep a sense of humor in what can be a very grim profession. Loved her!

I read this and it struck a cord with me, I have been clean for the better part of 8 years. For whatever reason you reacted the way you did in the ER that night to Vietnam Vet, I see it as tough love, it is very effective. If it had not been for tough love I would most definately not be here today. Sometimes an addict just needs someone to kick their butt up between their shoulder blades and tell them to get a life.
To you Vietnam: I'm sure you will agree that this is the life!! I don't know what I was thinking back in those days, I thought I was having fun. Hindsight is 20/20 and as it turns out that life was much harder than the simple life that I lead today. I'm happy for you. Stick with it, as addicts we missed everything good and simple in our lives, most holidays, family events, it's so nice now to stop and smell the roses, they are so sweet. Good luck to you.

I think the nurses on the 5th floor of St. B's (labor and delivery) are all angels on this earth. They need to be called saints. They helped our family through a tough time and made all that we went through so much better. I hope that God blesses them many times over. They are AMAZING!

Darlene Shipman is the number one and smartest nurse in Jonesboro. She has alot of expierence and knows her stuff. Sweet and caring of her patients. But be careful because she can become a great friend in time! I love her for both!
