I dont usually do this, but I am looking for a good wedding piano player, the lady I had lined up canceled on me, and my wedding is this month. Does anybody out there know someone local who can play the piano well and does wedding? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I will just give you some tips. I have played for numerous weddings and these are things that YOU need to do.

PAY THEM WELL! We give up a night and day of our time to play for your event. Also, our lessons were not free when we were taking them.

If you're the bride, keep your mother and bride's maids in check. The mother of the bride generally flips out and wants this or wants that. The bride's maids act like they are the belle of the ball.

Make sure you say thank you and write a thank you note. It is nice to show someone that they are appreciated.

You are in a tough spot. Most people start working on the music well in advance of the date. You are down to crunch time.

seriously, check with the music ministers at the different churches around town. They would know.

The local Church of Christ has a great piano player.
