Let's look at the possibility.

In the next year folks in D.C. decide to strip the 2nd Amendment rights of all U.S. citizens. The reason is that they believe citizens are no longer capable of being responsible to have the freedom to protect themselves because bad people get a hold of guns and do horrible acts of crime. The next step is to confiscate all guns and ammo in the U.S. to be destroy.

Now, open to discussion for everyone, what would you think America would be like without people having the freedom to own guns?

Let the debate begin.

And we will have singing unicorns. All violence and hate will end spontaneously, and the universe will buy the world a Coke.

Obama is certainly for armed security when it involves HIS security.

I don't think a total ban is being considered. I do think there should be a serious discussion about the mass killings.

How would that make you feel that VIP's could have armed security but the average person could not?

There would be many more shootings. What makes these liberals think that criminals are going to follow that law.

It is my belief that a lot of liberals don't care if criminals don't follow the law and do shootings, as long as it doesn't happen to them. They use the tragic events that criminals create to move forward a political agenda which would give them more power.

I cant remember how many lives that was lost by Timothy Mcvay, however gun control wouldnt help there a bit. If someone wants to cause a mass loss of life it is truly hard to stop that

Would look like Mexico where criminals kill by the tens of thousands each year while everyone else lives in walled off houses with bars over every opening.

Libs think it would be like Sweden or something - sorry, but we don't have the demographics of their utopian nirvana.

I honestly think it would be the beginning of major widespread civil unrest, with much more gun violence than we see presently.

Never happen. They will never totally eliminate guns. They may make possession illegal, but the outlaws will still have them. Bad as I hate it, after a lifetime of being a law abiding citizen, I'll become an outlaw.

Rosanne Barr popped her fat mouth off a few years ago and said nobody should have guns period. Then it was a discovered her body guard had guns to protect her. He is not wrong to have guns but she was wrong to say that. She is a leftist liberal hypocrite just like craphouse mouse and LBT.

It's sad isn't it. Folks in D.C. who actually want to make law abiding citizens, outlaws.

What people fail to realize about the 2nd amendment is that it wasn't put in place to give us the right to hunt or to protect ourselves from our neighbors. It was put in place to give us the right to protect ourselves from the government and from others that would try to take over and bring us under their rule. Be VERY suspicious of any government that wants to disarm its citizenry.
