It's really not complicated. ASU simply isn't worthy.
Jacksonville state ? Louisiana Monroe ? Tulsa? I'm a fan of both.. Always been on the record of
That.. But ur ignorant statements are pathetic .. Dont even say their (ASU) not worthy when we add these teams to the schedule... They are worth it over the teams we have scheduled, but we just choose not to play in state teams . Cut that non sense talk out that makes us look like tools .. Best wishes to all Arkansas teams coming up this year. One day these idiots will grow up and support the state and cut the jr High mess out ...

I think it would be a great idea.
War Memorial Stadium capacity 54,120.
ASU Stadium capacity 30,708.
UA Stadium capacity 72,000, expandable to 80,000.

Take your pick but consider that most Arkansans may have a bias for the Razorbacks, Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and the amenities found in the North West Arkansas area.
You can walk from the stadium to Dixon Street.

<quoted text> Sorry bro, but it's true. Arkansas does not even have one pro team, so why would they talk about Ark sports. lol! Every once in a while you hear about U of A nationaly, but it's always bad except one time in 1994. Bobby Petrino is an example. It's really simple, Ark only matters to Arkansans. nobody else pays any attention at all.
Never heard of the Travelers, the Riverbaldes, or how about the Naturals - they're a Kansas City Royals minor league team, never heard of any of these professional sports teams?

hahahaha

Like the other person said, you don't get out much.

James crackes me up.

Arkansas being ranked #3 in the BCS along with #1 LSU and #2 Alabama is the primary reason that the NCAA changed the football championship criteria over to a playoff season this Summer ......

... but nobody ever heard of us.

The you aren't on the same page with your head coach.

Gus is undeniably the best thing that's ever happened to ASU. His first season hasn't started yet and you're at odds with him. Way to support there Wolf fan.

Gus will move west at season's end where his wisdom will be more appreciated and better financed.

That's my point.

There is no incentive for UA to play this game. If they win, everyone will say, "Big deal. It's ASU.". But if they lose, they will have done irreparable damage to any hope of ever being taken seriously as a national championship contender. ASU is still bringing up a close game in the NIT tournament from the 90's. It's a lose-lose situation.

I, along with most every other human being outside of Jbo, has never heard of Ark StAte. In most states, the state university's main rival in sports is the state school within its borders. Why is it the way it is here? From my generalities, Ark is WAY behind in every aspect of life.

That is a very incorrect statement, many other schools main rivals are not in state, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Notre Dame.

Just being called a Razorback rival would be a major boost for ASU in and of itself.

That's not an insult, that's a fact.

bad argument .. They could just as easily lose to one of the weaker teams they are playing and in doing so ruin there chances for the title ... Find a new argument

That's all the argument they need. There's nothing to be gained. And UA is not really concerned with boosting ASU's rep. I agree that they should probably find some other teams besides Sunbelt teams to play. Gives ASU fans too much ammunition for comparison. I am a fan of both schools, but I'm realistic. I also like apples and oranges.

It's true that Ar placed three in the polls behind LSU & Bama. Now the polls have come out for the new season & why is LSU & Bama still 1 & 2 & Ar 10? The national scene knows whats up. No faith in Ar. They got lucky as fuck & will top out right there where they ended the season last year & you will never top that again. I'd commit suicide if I woke up & found out that I was stuck in Arkansas & the rest of the country feels the same. Even u guys know it, but wont admit it..

I believe USC crept up in the top spot, but point well taken. Ar people are funny.

LSU & Bama have proven to be solid programs & even though they lost several key players, they remain in the top spots, but Arkie loses a coach & the faith in the program drops signifacntly nation wide. Just one single shady man named Bob Petrino is so much bigger than the entire state of Arkie. Even ole savior Bob didnt respect your program.

Arkies have much lower standards & expectations than any where else in the USA. It's no surprise to me that they are excited over the Razorbacks. It's all they got so let them have their fun. Arkie poses no real threat to anybody.

well put. And u hit the nail on the head with your statement that AR is WAY behind in every aspect of life. Very sad but true. And the main reason we are moving to the progressive city of Portland OR next year. I will be an old man by the time this backwoods place catches up with the modern world. Shame.
