What an embarrassment. Two board members make Arkansas a laughingstock again. Never-mind the guy was an ASU grad, and it seems the son of the President of the board. Ignorant right wingers forcing their views on us all. A threat to the kids? Hardly.

KAIT needs to get their facts straight before publishing an article like this. This will make national news before the week is over. Maybe Bryant will finally get his 15 min of fame.

///// Since u r a lib, u should be happy that the minority rules. That's how the left survives. It's an unfair fight because y'all have the left wing media on your side. And yes, I am a bible carrying, gun toting American!!

It seems they want to teach the kids to be bigots. Or did they reject the speaker on religious grounds? Wait... that isn't legal.

It would appear some members of the school board might not want to treat gay students equally.

It will. I've alerted ABC, NBC and I also have a call into Anderson Cooper. Now, if I could just figure out how to work that dang 'Tweeter' thing

I hope legal action is taken against them. They are pushing their Bible Belt ways where it's illegal to push. It's not even legal to have prayer in a school unless it's student led. I've seen time and time again where a kid is afraid to come out because of how backwoods Bible Belt everyone is around here. If you don't believe in being gay, then don't. It's as simple as that. It's not my place or anyone else's to tell them they are wrong. In my opinion, it's just as big a sin.

I will never understand people discriminating against a person solely for what they do in their private time with their own life. I'm in my 20's, so knowing this used to happen to colored people and women seems insane to me since I never experienced it. I'm hoping that by the time my child reaches my age gays will be as socially acceptable as colored people and women are now. It will happen, and when it does I hope all you horrible people cringe and hate yourself for your actions. A word of advice, do not judge unless you are ready to be judged in return.

Facts are before the gay lifestyle took over the country , the USA was a good place to live. The farther we go down this path of allowing gays to have unauthorized rights the worse this country will get. Lets straighten up or we will lose are country. This is a fact. You can not name a society that has survived this kind of acceptance.

Where is the proof this has anything to do with sexuality rather than a board member NOT following procedure? Right side of history...how cliché and an attempt at political correctness. A personal letter to a tv station is not proof, it's a personal letter. And it's one that demonstrates lack of procedural knowledge of such meetings it concerns.
Both sides have stepped in a pile and need to clean off the boots. Allow those seniors to have a good graduation. Let the opponents sling mud in the rodeo arena following the graduation for all to enjoy.

Why would they have taken a vote if it hasn't been authorized? They wouldn't have.

I've studied the bible as much as any one of you. I assure you I know my scripture, but I also know it's not my place to pass judgement upon anyone. As Christians, aren't we supposed to love everyone equally? We aren't supposed to chastise anyone. We are supposed to set an example for the sinners and all you people are doing is turning people away from Christianity and making us all seem like a bunch of judgmental cowards. You'll never convert anyone that way.
