yeah they are extremely unethical,if hes not riping people off on bad parts, riping off other salvage yards by selling their parts and then telling them it was bad,or burning things he bought for insurance money that he can no longer afford the payments on,or staging accidents to collect insurance money,or dumping tires on the side of the road so he doesnt have to pay disposal fees,or ripping off someone some how or fashion then he must be sleeping, cause thats about the only time hes doing anything good, and yes that is truely witnessed events of how that business is ran!

I have never met his wife, but he will screw you over in a heartbeat,i tried buying a vehichle from him, until everytime i went to make a payment he wanted to go somewhere to f**k. He got pissed after i kept turning him down(uuggghh)and wouldn't fill out the nessacary paerwork to get the vehichle tagged,so i quit making payments, cussed him out,and when he picked the vehichle up at 11pm..i was not home,he wouldn't let my friends get my things,he stole evrything in there! Had to call police to his place just to get what he didnt..in the damn trunk. I almost went to jail, cause i was bout to jump over that counter and beat the S***out his ugly ass.

B&B replaced an engine for me. Shortly after I received my vehicle my transmission went out. I took the vehicle to another mechanic who found where B&B left out bolts to my engine and transmission. They also left my fuel lines dangling with no brackets, cut the transmission lock out wire and rigged it back together, and reinstalled the ac condensor wrong...causing it to blow a huge piece out of the bottom. I contacted them with this information and was told they didn't do any of this...even said they didn't touch the transmission when the motor was replaced. I'm no mechanic, but it seems to me the transmission would have to be removed from the old engine and reattached to the new. Anyway, I was hung up on when I questioned their labor. Don't go to these people. I paid $2200 for them to ruin my transmission. I now have to pay another $1450 for their mistake.

I've never had a problem from b&b I got a set of leaf springs from them one time and they let me watch them take it off the truck to prove it hadn't been wrecked from the back... Wish I could say the same for economy

Pruitts is over priced. Good friendly staff but want too much on some items.

Wanted the wheels off the 05 vette they have/had out there and asked how much they said $1000 so I was like ehh and went to look at it.

At first I only notice three wheels and then later noticed the fourth one FACE DOWN in a mud puddle soaking up the rust. All four tires were no good really, had chunks out of the tires and other mostly bald, maybe 10% tread left if that. Still wouldn't bargain with me, guess they're just money hungry like the rest of them. So if any of you read this from pruitts I will give $500 for the wheels and tires when you decide to let them go for a reasonable price, you can keep the $3000 motor too, WAYYY over priced on it for the condition its in. Feel sorry for whoever buys it :(

Well, I wish that I would have researched this place before paying $600 for a transmission. The first transmission was not even the right one, so we managed, after a full week of arguing, to get him to order us another one. Had to wait a week to get it. Guess what? This one simply was bad. Called the shop for another week straight trying to talk to the 'manager'. Finally got a hold of him this morning, he says he won't deal with us anymore because our warranty has expired when he is responsible for two of those weeks passing. Now I'm out $600 and still need a transmission. Anyone wanting to get together and take this guy to small claims court, post on here. I AM SERIOUS! Post on here, we all live in the same town. If we get together we can get this guy shut down for good!

Getting together with others won't help very much when it comes to small claims court. You are going to just have to file the lawsuit yourself. If you already have a lawyer for some reason, you can bring him, but small claims courts don't usually require one. It's just standard procedure.

File the lawsuit in the small claims court for the jurisdiction B&B is in and have him served with notice to appear. Then go to court with pictures of the transmission(s), receipts, warranty statements, call logs of each time you called and what they told you, and, if possible, a statement from any mechanic(s) that examined your transmissions and can testify that they are incorrect and/or not working.

B&B are the worst crooks ever, I did take them to small claims and won becuase they didnt show up and when I went to the window the ladies told me that he had over 250 lawsuits against him believe his name was Brownderville sold us a bad motor when I took it to the shop to put it in before we ever took it out of the back of the truck husband said it was a bad motor so he called them, they argued he went ahead and installed it, true to what he said BAD MOTOR and they had filled the freeze plugs up too, they refused to do anything in fact they voided the warranty because we removed the stuff they filled the freeze plugs with to put new freeze plugs in...I have a judgement against him but it will never do any good, crooks will always find a way to hook or crook ya...I call him a lousy POS the ladies at the window had said just since I filed he had over 10 new ones filed!
