My husband was referred to him by our doctor but he didn't seem to interested in helping. He didn't listen to anything we had to say about the problem then he gave us diagnoss that we later found out was totally different from what he told our doctor and she couldn't believe what home treatment he had my husband do. I wouldn't go back to him. We are now seeing a doctor in little rock.

I used Dr. Hayes for a while. He has no bedside manners at all. He would not release my xrays to take to another dr. I don't go there anymore. I will use Dr. Woodruff next time.

I was sent to Dr Hayes after a motorcycle accident that hurt my foot over 2 years ago. He spent about 2 mnutes yanking and pulling on my foot. Never x-rayed it....gave me a cortizone shot that hurt like F***'n hell and sent me away. He spent an inoordinate amount of MY TIME telling me about how he was a runner and that I should always wear good shoes. And very very little time actually diagnoising my foot problem. I live in pain with my foot and i hurt even worse when I see him running on TV.

Find someone else would be my opinion.

Dr Hayes comes off as arrogant, but I can't speak from experience from visiting him as a pt, that's just an observation from seeing him out and about.

I used Dr. Hayes and he treated my foot problem fine. Course he did suggest that I get new shoes every 3 months which I can not afford but it is a good idea.

i used dr. hayes one time. he had no bedside manners. he wanted to give me a shot in my heel but i wouldn't let him, which seemed to make him really mad. he didn't even take x-rays of my foot. i went to dr. lee p. woodruff the same day and he and his staff was wonderful. he took x-rays first thing and let me know of other options i could try first (without getting the shot) which worked great. don't waste your time like i did, go to dr. woodruff the first time.

He's a horse's ass as far as I'm concerned. He is an arogant SOB. He did surgery on my mom's foot. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. He spent most of the time talking about himself. He never answered any of our questions. Definitely DO NOT go to him.

I went to him and He gave me cortisone shots too. He can't fix my foot until a certain bone breaks.Did't make sense to me. When this shot wears off I will see another foot doc for sure. He would make a wonderful shoe salesman though.

you guys need to chill. you sound like a bunch of whiners who ALL doctors prefer not to have as patients.

he was great and listened to me when i went to him after another group in town sent an intern in to look at my swollen ankle and sent me away with a script and took an xray when i already had an MRI!

the bone was broken, he performed a great surgery on my foot, and got me back on my feet after months of pain. judge him on his work. he fixed me up!

Dr. Haughey is a wonderful doctor. He is compassionate, will listen to your "actual" complaints, and will work hard to get you out of pain. He is also an athlete, but he won't preach to you all the virtues of running or brag about his accomplishments. He has fixed 2 problems for me and I would not hesitate to use him again.

OMG!!! He did the same crap to me!!! FOR REAL!!! He kept going on and on and on about keeping new shoes and how shoes were SO important. I don't wear cheap worn out shoes, but he seems to think that you can't have shoes that are new enough.

THEN he tells me that I cut my toe nails too short. I told him that I wasn't going to have some toenails that looked like chicken claws. He told me that I should keep them long.

Basically did NOT solve my problem. Did NOT give me any useful information (really never gave me a diagnoses even when I asked him point blank) and sent me a huge bill.

I refused to pay the bill. Called and said I would pay half of it. They didn't deliver a service and I didn't think it was fair.

Just because a doctor sees you doesn't mean they delivered a service. You don't pay the yard man for looking at your yard and not doing anything.

My son was referred to Dr. Hayes about 3 years ago because he was having really bad pain in both his feet. He prescribed him some orthotics to wear in his shoes that only made his feet worse. About 2 years later i took him back cause it was time for his check up. Dr. Hayes told me he needed surgery on both his feet because he is missing some kind of "plate" or "padding" in his feet. My son was 6 at the tims...this was a little over a year ago. I told him no and he got mad. I took my child to a pediatric foot specialist at Children's Hospital in Little Rock to get a 2nd opinion. They done xrays and said there is nothing wrong with his feet anymore. He outgrew the condition he had. As far as the missing plates or padding that Dr. Hayes said was not there, well they showed up just fine in his xrays. We will NEVER go back to Dr. Hayes again!!!!
Quack

He's a quack with body dysmorphic disorder. He's SERIOUSLY a quack. He gets written up in some local rag because he's a runner and everyone thinks he's some foot god. Well he's not. He blames everything on not wearing the proper shoes. He's like OCD with that. He's a quack. Quack. Quack. Quack.
