There have been previous posts regarding J'boro car window tinters. However, I am looking for comments on more recent tintings by Supertints. How did they do for you?

Supertints did my windows about two years ago and it cost roughly $125. They did pretty good. There were bubbles on the back window that they said would go away after a while. Still haven't gone away. Other than that they did great.

That's kind of like saying, "They did a pretty good job painting my house. The paint chipped off but other than that they did great."
I guess now we have an idea how Bush got re-elected.

OK - I was pleased with their work. The bubbles did not disappear, but I just didn't feel like it was a big enough problem for me to have to go back and go through the hassle with them having to redo something. I could have, but I chose not to. I know they would have gladly replaced the tint if I had taken it back. It was my fault that it was not corrected - not theirs. So there - satisfied?

I went there a few years ago and I had bubbles on one window. I took my car back and they took that off and put new on, but guess what? The new job had bubbles also...I'll never go there again.

you might check the fine print of the law.
i think the installer has to put an id marker on their work and has to install legal tint.

my son had a installer say the tint as legal - but not legal according to the police test machine? seems the installer should get the ticket
or a visit from the police.

some courts or police will waive the ticket if the tint is removed. i'd reappear at the tint shop for a free weaker retint if they did me wrong or see them in small claims court.

I have had four vehicles done by Supertints and have not had any problems with any of them. They did, however, let me know before I left with each car that if something was wrong to bring it back and they would correct it.

You better keep your receipt or they won't fix it even if it has their logo on the tint.

They did not get your friend a ticket. He got his self a ticket! They ask you what kind of tint you want, if you want darker than what is legally allowed, that is your friends stupidity! People should own up to there own situations instead of blaming someone else. I had my truck windows tinted the other day, I told them I didn't want them "legal" (my truck is a show truck, it is not a daily driver) he said ok thats not a problem for me, but if you get stopped its your problem not mine. I understand this and have no problem with it because he did what I asked of him and I paid him, so if I do drive my truck through town and I get a ticket it is my OWN STUPIDITY for having illegal window tint! Why blame someone else? Did they say here is your car, and it is legal but if they say anything we will pay the ticket? I think not! Stop complaining and get a J-O-B and help your friend pay the ticket...ooops it wasnt your car, and wasn't the illegal tint you paid for so it is not your responsiblity right??? Blaming them for your friends ticket is like saying, I bought a gun and shot some one, but Smith&Wesson should pay for me to get out of jail! How stupid!
