yes my dear! How ya been! Downtown is a good place, forgot the name. Trim Gym, ASU (if you're a student), and most of the other gyms around. The best place is downtown across from the zen I think.

I used them back about 2 years ago. They are good! That place downtown is specifically for YOGA. I like them now, but they are new to the area. It is really zen like.

Sotox downtown on Church St. is the best...that's all they do. The instructors have been well-trained, and the owner/instructor, Pam Young, also has a background in physical therapy. There's another place on Main St. They are new...don't know much about them. I'd go with Sotox.
I think Sotox has close down. Does anyone know for sure?

Sotox only does private classes now I believe. Go to Nirvana on Main Street. It has been in business for a while, but only recentlly moved downtown. It is Hot Yoga.... they heat the room up inorder to allow your muscles to stretch more. I go very often. Sandy Phillips is the owner and is such a positive wonderful person! Sandy does private lessons and massage therapy. Everyone in there is really sweet and encouraging.

It is $10 per class or she has a month unlimited, but I can't remember the amount. It is an hour and a half and she has classes almost 7 days a week, usually 2 or 3 times a day. I go to the 6pm class usually. You get a great workout! But be prepared to sweat.... ALOT! Afterwards, she treats you with a cold rag that has been soaked in cold water and lemon or lavender oil! It feels so nice! Since I started going to yoga, I feel so much more positive and self-confident and I've made alot of new friends at Nirvana. You can borrow a mat there or bring your own. But don't eat two hours before and come well hydrated. You can look the number up in the phonebook for more information! Hope you come try it out! You won't regret it!

You would be totally fine! Everyone goes at their own pace and for each pose, there are several different levels. If you start to feel dizzy or anything, you can just lay down on your mat.... People do that ALL THE TIME! I've been going since last May and I still lay down. The first time you go, you will be pretty sore afterwards, but it gets easier everytime and before you know it.... you are addicted! It's a great way get healthy! Mentally and Physically.
