Well a couple of years ago when my husband and I split I got an apt out there...HUGE MISTAKE. It was bad then and now its worse.I got out of my lease and was out of there quick. There was a shooting out there about a year or so ago. I went to see a friend who has since moved from there and my son found a needle laying out in the grass. Its most certianly one of the gehttos of Jonesoro.

Speaking stereotypically, aren't all apartment complexes doomed to becoming ghetto? As they get older and start to decline, they become rundown and new apartments are built to replace them. What school district are most of the new apartment complexes in? Nettleton. Give it 5-10 years and Nettleton will be the ghetto school district along with Jonesboro.

I don't think all apartments are doomed. The folks that are in charge of renting them need to be more selective in who they rent to. I heard that it is a known place to find drugs and folks that hang there are just looking for trouble. Do places like this have any kind of police patrol?

Some people are so full of shit their eyes are probably brown!!!!!! Gladiolus is as safe as any and the managers are great!!!!!!!!! If u found a needle it was probably yours....... Drive through here at night and it is dead. Looks like all old people live here. Most are young that live here. I bet you got kicked out.

If apartments take HUD or other assistance they are likly to be less then "nice" and they do!

I live close to them, and I can't believe the crime that goes on there. I wouldn't live there if someone gave me a free apartment for life. There are more drugs going in and out of that complex than crossing the mexican border.

Ok I made a mistake and moved there after I left my husband. There were police at the people below me and across from me all the time. There was a shooting out there about a year or so ago. One or more of the apts have caught on fire because of people cooking meth in the apt.

I haven't heard any of this. Don't remember a shooting either but I wasn't here then. Were you in the front, back, or side of the apts? I do know of the police being out here twice and both times it was a husband/wife dispute over kids. I am not taking up for this place, I live here and have never seen or heard anything bad. Fill me in I would really like to know. Thanks!

I recently moved out of the Gladiolus. We lived there for 3 years and the managers changed 5 times. Both me and my husband had both of our cars broken into. They may have been nice in the past, but now they just let anyone move in there and it is not a safe place to live.
