This is some bs anybody and everybody that knew him will tell you that (That's Not Ernest). They will not ruin this kid life for something he did not do. They were on a bus and nobody seen or heard anything out of all the kids on the bus plus a bus driver.(REALLY!) So it's a battle to the end for this kid, who was about to graduate in a few weeks, move into his on place and he has a newborn son. Why would he jeopardize his life which was promising him so much. He has a niece that he is very protective of and this is not his character in life. The fact is he's black and he lives in Jonesboro. I'm not racist but that is the issue here and he will not go down without a FIGHT.

It is what it is and nobody pulled that card it was dealt. I didn't say that there wasn't people out here like that because it is, but Ernest Carter is not one of them. If that wasn't the issue that card wouldn't have been pull so say what you want you know nothing about this case but you shall here more on it. Why not say what happen on the first day. Why would you wait a whole day later, say something and then charge him with a sexual assault. Like I said you only know what you've read and that's not enough.

Its very common for a lapse of time before charging someone black or white .
And if the girl waited to report it that's not uncommon either .
So are you saying the only reason he was arrested is because he's black ?
Also you didn't answer my question of how old his child's mother is .

I don't know the child mother and no I'm not saying he was arrested because he is black. I'm saying they arrested him without proof, evidence or any witnesses. This happen on a school bus and nobody seen anything not even the drive but yet still he gets arrested. Then every time you hear the story it changes to incriminate him even more. I'm just wondering what will be said next?

I don't know what will be said next but this is how the system works .
If it were a black girl and a white man the same rules should apply .

It may be that he not thinking much of it made a huge mistake .
Unfortunately in these times even 1st graders need to know not to touch each other in a sexual manner innocent as it may be .

I don't know how your supposed to explain that to a child !

When I was a very young child I smacked a girl on her butt , simply because I liked her .
I got a stern talking to and never did that again .
Today in the same scenario some parent might claim sexual harassment .
Ridiculous as it sounds it does happen .

lets see no proof, there is the girl, and the two guys who pulled the pervert off the girl. Animals like him needs to be put in prison for life where he will learn what being rape is like.

yes it does happen. I was reading today where I 6 year old was suspended for sexual harassment.
AURORA, Colo.A 6-year-old boy was suspended from his suburban Denver school for three days after school officials said he told a girl "I'm sexy and I know it," a line from a popular song.

D'Avonte Meadows, a first-grader at Sable Elementary School in Aurora, is accused of sexual harassment and disrupting other students, according to a letter the school district sent to his mother after he was sent home Wednesday.

School officials issued a statement saying they couldn't discuss the case, but they pointed out a school board policy that defines sexual harassment as any unwelcome sexual advance.

Aside from the two boys that pulled him off of her, the girl herself...there's nothing saying there wasn't other children who witnessed this or footage off of a bus cam. Saying it was made up or to frame this MAN...is rather far fetched considering the possible elements surrounding this. People tend to judge, yes..I tend to be one of them, but I highly doubt this girl is making this up. And..... it doesn't matter the color. When a female says "No, leave me alone!" that's what it means.

Patricia, I have to ask where your information is coming from, because by reading..I don't see where there were no witnesses or the bus driver saw nothing. He was charged..I assume the prosecuting attorney had more evidence than a made up rumor.

I haven't read all of your posts, but I have noticed that your posts that I have read seemed to be reasonable. I have also noticed there appears to be someone (or more) who seems to be out to get you.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate your posts and think there are probably many others who do--and just aren't that vocal about it.

You know nothing about this case, either, and you want to say he is innocent and it's a racial thing. This is the same crap that happened with the Trayvon Martin case. A bunch of idiots who WERE NOT THERE scream and holler that Zimmerman "murdered" a "child" in cold blood. Just like then, YOU WERE NOT THERE. So shut the hell up and let the police do their job.

Black people, overall, are far more racist than white people. They are constantly taught that white people are the source of all their problems...not the drugs they are encouraged to sell, the crimes they are told to commit, their entitlement attitude, or any number of other completely irresponsible actions they take.

Hey I agree with Lark. I think Laptop is very astute at times. Sometimes can get off subject when goaded by others but has a good brain and seems very intelligent. I can spot that when I see it. And I would say it takes one to know one. That says a lot for Lark AND me.(humor)

From other kids off the bus is saying that this didn't happen besides that only the tape can tell the truth. I'm saying it didn't happen because this is not his character. I was raised around this kid I've known him since he was 1 yrs old and to see him go down for something he did not do is simply tragic. If you talked to this kid you would know just by talking to him that he isn't capable of this. Everyone is innocence until proven guilty but if you read what has been said you will see that they already labeled him guilty and nobody has heard his side of the story but yet still everybody say he's guilty.

I agree with the last part NO MEANS NO! All I can say is look at the evidence talk to some witnesses have them take the stand and swear on the bible that this is what happened but nobody wants to do that really so idk all I know is that this has messed up his life.
