They're all trash out here, no doubt about it, up and down the streets 24/7 cussing and vandalizing, one little hoe pedaling her ass past the front of my house last night cussing and screaming and screaming at somebody, calling them an assho le, the females as nasty as the males. No telling what kind of porn they're doing, all of them. I keep my kids away from them.

When I lived in Candlewood 100% of the kids I saw were evil little bastards that should all have been locked up someplace, cussing and fussing and breaking windows and stealing and beating on each other, shooting pellet guns and hassling old folks. I always wondered if maybe there were some good ones too but that their parents had enough sense to hide them so the bad ones couldn't mess with them. I would not want to go back to try to find out but maybe there's some decent parents willing to say here. The trashy ones will just say their brats are really angels. Yeah. Right.

Never was a meaner bunch in general, can't behave and mind their own business and feel justified in their criminal acts against their neighbors and their debauchery, them and their kids. Please pray for them. It's not too late until they die.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His [e]only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the [f]only begotten Son of God. 19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Most older kids have that capacity no matter the school district. My son graduated from VV and kids were never mean to him. We are not rich. My daughter is in 2nd grade at VV and loves her school!
I don't believe the original poster is a VV parent. There are always people from other districts bashing VV kids. It is wrong to do and they are usually wrong in what they post. There are good kids and bad kids in every school. Just for some unknown reason they like to bash VV. All I can think of is that some are jealous of Valley View's accomplishments. The majority of our students are good kids, but somehow they all get lumped in with the few that are not.
What about the kids that are in gangs at Jonesboro High School?

30 years ago, they called us the Redneck Country Bumbkin school. We would play Jonesboro and Jonesboro students would wear overalls to the game. Know they call us rich stuck up snobs. Valley Viewers have a lot of pride, these antics of calling us whatever, didn't succeed back then, and don't succeed now. Anyone with a half of brain, knows every school has good kids and bad kids. Don't know of a school who has cornered the market in just good kids. I will say this, if you will go take a tour of Jonesboro High school, and then go tour Valley View, and watch the kids between classes or getting out of school. You will see a huge difference in manners. I have witnessed it, and I have seen teachers warn both sets of students in the same manner but I witnessed two different responses. I think both for majority are good kids, just two different cultures. It's not a black white deal, it's a parenting deal. The Black Culture on inner city, is just not the same as white suburbia. Not saying both don't have problems because they do.
I have seen parents give their child in Valley View eveything, only to grow up dependant on mom and dad later in life, and I have seen poor black kid not have anything and grow up to have a good self sustained life.
We as adults, really need to not put down either type of child or school, and leave them alone.

You people downing kids who may be little brats, is nothing compared to Blytheville and Forrest City, murder and stabbings from these kids. Be happy your kids are doing mischievous deeds and not robbing and killing people.

I just think it's ridiculous that most of these comments have to do with "just teach your kids to ignore it", "that's life", "it's normal". You're condoning bullying and telling people to just get over it. Victimizing the victims and telling them it's their fault solves nothing. Why don't teach your kids to stop bullying instead of telling other kids to stop being bullied.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about. We're seeing the same juvenile crimes here and on a bigger level. People call JPD asking for help, the damned kids are caught red handed, and then their damned parents lie to keep them from being arrested, leaving them running the streets to do it all over again. Sure, they wind up in the slammer eventually, but they do a hell of a lot of damage before then.

I agree. Most of the kids who have parents that are doctors or who have parents that work at St. Bernards or other hospitals think they are above everyone. You can't blame the children for it all because they learned from their parents.

True, the parents are responsible, the parents did it, the parents should be the ones thrown in the slammer with the kids, but you can't get past the fact that something has to be done with the kids, people have to be protected from them. The elderly people I see in the course of my business all carry some sort of self defense (box cutters, mace, tasers) because of the kids. The kids threaten, curse, harass them and get away with it. Their parents tell them the old people can't do anything to them "because they haven't done anything wrong" and I know that for a fact. The calls and complaints are coming in more and more. We're seeing more and more of the wilding mentality and flash mob mentality and what they call knock out games. The local so-called news outlets are keeping it all on the down low, but if you're here you know how to use the Internet and can find out what it all means, even if they won't warn you about it locally. The parents are unfit and they really do lie to police officers, which, in turn, teaches the kids not only that what they're doing is good but also to lie their way out of trouble and to disrespect authority figures.

I have to admit I've seen a lot of the things going on that people are saying here. I am beginning to think it was a big mistake to move here. I feel sorry for the kids I see, they obviously don't have the right parenting in their lives, are like wild animals and savages that don't even think about right and wrong, just do wrong all the time. The grown ups are the same, though. Yesterday evening some grown man was racing up and down the street blaring his horn. Not just once, but like half a dozen times and it was one of those horns that sound like a train warning whistle. There are always kids racing on four wheelers and running around with dogs not on leashes and insulting adults and skipping school like I have never seen before. The screaming and cursing is hair raising. I didn't know before we moved here that there was at least one rental house right here. I'm wondering how much worse it will be when school is out and am already looking at the real estate listings again. Can anyone recommend an area that's more civilized? Thank you.

Maybe if the television was shut off kids would learn that cussing was not okay. Kids spend more time with the tv than with their parents. Electronics have taken over as parents. Wonder how perfect parents grow up to have such rotten little ones.
