My ex husband did that after we split up and he's the one that wanted the divorce!! He thought I was cheating on him and he would find out who the "other" guy was, but little did he know I wasn't cheating on him so all he saw was my car sitting in the driveway! I didn't start dating again until 2-3 months after our divorce was final.

Can something legally be done to make this stop?

I had this same problem with a man from Bay, unfortunately the stalking laws in Arkansas are very lenient. First u will need proof that this person is driving by, watching your house, following you etc, witnesses phone records camera footage dated phone calls or recorded conversations work. You then need to go to the court house or police station and file a complaint or ask for a protective order based on the evidence u have. U go to court tell the judge hey this behavior is freaking me out its a little scary makes me afraid to be out in my yard walk out to my car bla bla. If the judge believe u u will get a protective order or restraining order and then if the behavior continue u can call the police and have the person arrested for violating a court order to stay away from you.

Keep copy of your phone bills with his or her phone number calling and texting you as proof....that is of course if that person is actually calling and texting and you're not just making this because you just want people to think that this person is calling and texting you but they really could care less about you.
Keep in mind also that somebody can call somebody and make it look like somebody else's phone number is calling instead of their own. Some of my friends used to do this trick with their cell phones. But this would not apply to you of course unless you were having one of your friends do this with their cell phone to make it look like your ex was calling and texting you....that is if they really were your ex.

Try to call his or her bluff! That's what I did and it worked for me! Be sure to save all messages (text and voice). My ex is an officer so I threatened to contact his boss. He knew he would be in trouble because he was assigned to a different area than where I lived at the time!
