You mean the bill that's already been declared dead on arrival?? Yeah, must be that one.

I see a pretty good "buzz" in the opposite direction too. You're about to discover your king has no clothes.

All the govt is talking about is more background checks and the clips will be limited to about 15 rounds. No one but cat and lbt is even proposing taking guns away from people.

That's your govt cat!!!
Enjoy!!

And here's your problem with even participating in this debate. You have never owned a gun. I doubt you have shot one. You have little to no experience with guns. You admit you would likely shoot yourself if you handled one, yet you want to debate gun ownership. Laughable. You need to stick with arguing something you are an expert in such as lying or being a dumbass.

There are a lot of people talking about banning those menacing assault rifles. Especially lawmakers.

You should keep up.

Any American citizen can participate in this debate. Gun owner or not. Gun owners don't have the market cornered on anything.

... and you were saying that it isn't going to happen.
... and I was telling you that you are wrong.
... and then I was called some names ... and yadda yadda yadda.
Meanwhile, there's a constant buzz in Washington DC about banning assault rifles in a way that will consider the simple ownership of an AR-15 a federal crime as the NRA brags about ammunition sales clearing shelves.
hahahahahaha
Please continue ...
You clearly don't know what the topic is
Pay attention or go away!!

I thought that you was wanting to do away with the constitution.
That's where one gets the freedom you are talking about.

interesting and on topic read from a couple of years ago that almost no one heard about.

http://www.timesnews.net/article.php...

Points to take into consideration.

1. School had an armed officer in the school.
2. Armed officer had trained at the school for such an incident.
3. office personnel put the school on lockdown after gunman had the principal at gunpoint.
4. Armed officer drew her weapon and confronted the bad guy and probably saved the principal and others.
5. Result - Bad guy dead, no students or staff or bystanders killed.

Questions about the bad guy.
he had previously been arrested and convicted for carrying concealed into a police station without a carry permit.

1. When he was convicted and sentenced why did he ONLY get 11 months and 29 days?
2. Why was his sentence suspended in favor of probation except for 2 days?
3. Per existing laws they could have revoked his right to be in possession of a firearm. Why didn't they?

I hear a lot of people saying use a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun, this is a perfect example.

I hear a lot of people saying enforce existing laws, perfect example where they failed to do so.

I hear a lot of people say harsher sentences, perfect example where they failed in this respect also.

No, they don't. But it helps to talk, with the backing of actual ownership of and experience in, fireARMS.

Yep, just like you can't talk about anything going on in the government unless you voted.

You?... a responsible gun owner would simply turn a weapon over to the hands of a stranger, no background check, knowing I am not trained in any fashion to handle a firearm?

See how easy you "responsible" gun owners manage to shoot yourself in the foot?... verbally speaking of course.

3 Governors have come out supporting major gun restrictions since this time yesterday.

8 proposals have already hit Congress.(none expected to pass, but voices are ringing out in the chambers of Congress just the same, keeping this issue red hot and on the front burner set on HIGH.

2 meetings scheduled with VP Biden over the next 24 hours concerning gun control.

Every last news media outlet leads with gun control reporting.

Here's the deal .....

The silent majority has been pushed aside every time a mass shooting occurs, but not this time. Too many gun addicts argue that the school shooting that left 20 six year olds dead 10 days before Christmas could have been prevented with armed guards.

What these gun addicts fail to accept is, it's not just about those 20 kids. It's not like we've forgotten the other victims over these past few years. Righties forget easy. Patriots never forget.

Righties ran out as soon as their paycheck came in and bought up all the guns and bullets on the shelves.

hahahahaha

That's their way of funding the fight in Washington but it will fall far short. Some firearms manufacturers will likely go bankrupt before this fight is done.

Know this gun addicts -

There will be a day in your lifetime when you will have to turn in those weapons and on that day ... you will do so.

If I'm an expert liar, why would you believe that I've never shot a gun? Because I told you so?

Can you see the oxymoron here?

The Second Amendment does not identify what type of arms you may bear. It could be just a slingshot. It certainly doesn't include a shoulder launched stinger missile.
The fact that it doesn't specify is your proof that it is all inclusive.
