As a Baptist you can't drink but its ok to make money off the sale to someone who sells it? Hypocritical, but I'm happy to see Red Lobster coming to town goodlord. the baptist drink like fish.

Yes they do. They just drive a little farther to buy it hoping not to run into fellow church members! Cheers to Red Lobster and to bringing more quality restaurant chains to Jobo.

They are oh so easy to duplicate , just make drop biscuits from scratch and add cheddar cheese , oregano, thyme , basil and fresh garlic , brush with real butter when they come out of the oven Lori wrote: All i want is their biscuts could care less about the rest

The last time I checked it's exceedingly rare to find customers patronizing an establishment that doesn't exist, don't you agree? And again, you choose to conflate the point I made regarding the public's predilections for corporate fare as opposed to opting for unique cuisine and unregulated experiences; I stated that in response to the earlier poster's observation about national chains and the local economy. When Red Lobster moves to Jonesboro, then by all means you can flop out there after church and stuff yourself on last month's catch. But until then, I stand by my recommendation that you do a little research and see what options might exist in Memphis--that is, if you feel adventurous. Food is a cultural adventure, and currently you're in the "National Chain Zone" of your personal journey; that's fine, but as you venture out a little more boldly you'll discover that the culinary options circumscribed by corporate America are quite narrow and artificial. And when you occasionally make a poor decision in your restaurant research, don't worry--as programmed you'll inevitably gravitate to the safety and monosodium glutamate of Red Lobster. Hey, have you seen their latest ad? LOL! I saw America 1st at Red Lobster!
