Hi - My name is Tina and I am with Suddenlink. If you email me at tina-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com, and can get you pricing on Suddenlink Security. The price will vary with your location and what other services you have with us. Thanks!

Suddenlink is terrible Tina. Ya'll need to stop patrolling topix boards and start monitoring your crappy services. This is my last month with ya'll, going to Dish baby.

You know Suddenlink is pathetic when they're trolling the message boards.

Not sure where your from, but here in WVA my suddenlink internet is fine. I will admit I use directv for television, but thats because they offer a better picture and more hd channels for less.

I will however be going with suddenlink for my home security system, and with the cell backup it dosen't matter if the burglars cut my lines!

Some people are just negative but don't give explanations why, they just say "suddenlink sucks!" It's probobly because they can't pay thier bills.

I had suddenlink security installed on Nov. 8,2010. The tech was informative and I was pleased with everything until I received a bill for $850 for install and two camera and one motion detector. I paid the bill because I was impressed with the package.I like the text message every time I armed up and disarmed. This system work like a dream and was everything I wanted until the 13 Dec.I left my house and armed up and was running my business and noticed that I had not received a text. I went home and everything was fine as far as I could see.On the 13 Dec. all telephone text stopped,no history was recorded all video stopped and I felt like a deer in the headlights. I went to suddenlink and explained the problem and she said she would sent a tech out. The tech came to my house and the first thing he wanted to see was why there was no history on the website after I armed up. The tech said that the website was down.I asked when the website went down and he said there was no way to tell. To make a long story short, when the website goes down there is no text and no history and warning, nothing. I did not know if someone was in the house or what was happening. The website goes down and all services stop. The answer to your question is $850 for install and $125 a month.

I use Suddenlink (although I have gotten security yet) and I love it. I have never had bad service. My neighbor went dish for about 3 months. I learned my lesson through her. I have never left Suddenlink and pay much less now for cable, internet, and phone than I did when I was paying for them each separately.

Just a thought for ya'll. If the cameras are wireless, the feed can be intercepted, with the right equipment. Any signal sent through the air is vulnerable to hackers. Hardline is better, but I don't know, if that is an option.

You gotta be kidding.$125/month just for monitoring? I pay @$20 per month with Jernigan Security. And they are the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Did you have to call to have them reset it? Mine has done this 3 times this week.

It was late last night when it happened so I didn't call. I will tonight and have them reset it & see if that works.

You are happy with them since you do not know you are getting ripped off for the phone - even if part of a package deal. you can get phone service with magic jack or skype using the same lines suddenlink uses.

When I had suddenlink I was paying 30 dollars a YEAR for unlimited phone calls in the US using suddenlink cable.
