Wow, just wow. I am truly shocked at some of these post. He may have made a mistake by racing but no one deserves death or to be trashed on a public forum. Keep judging, im sure that ones in tye bible, and when your day comes he may just be lookin down at every fowl mouth idiot that posted judgment on him doin the dougie the whole time. think about that. And say what you want i have said what i have to say and will no longer follow this thread.

Another halfwit talking shit and trying to sound like a christian at the same time. You can bet your nasty ass that god's not liking what he sees when he looks at you, hypocrite.

Everybody dies. Some are missed more than others. Some aren't missed at all. Sometimes the world's a better place when certain individuals die.

Everybody dies. No big deal.

Wow... I tried to leave it alone. But this is stupid! A good friend died and two are in the hospital. I went to Memphis to the hospital so I know what's really going on. If you don't know don't tell. Now this has turned into a fu*kin race war are you serious?!

When you put life into perspective like this, it makes it all make more sense and also makes it much easier to handle and accept things.

how about involuntary manslaughter or neg homicide. To bad stupidity isn't crime then they could charge that girl for being in the back. UnFortunately with one leg it's going to be hard to get on a bike now.
Luckily for you: with what I've read coming frm you, you would get life in front of a firing squad. You don't know anything or anyone involved, but your ignorance lets you spout ignorance beyond belief. Get off the topic until you find out what really happened.

This was an accident. Plain and simple. They happen every day, every hour, to people of every race, creed and color. Nobody was racing anybody else. Accident. No more, no less. Anybody says otherwise is wrong. And because of an accident, two young people that had their entire ives in front of them, are lying in a hospital, wondering just how much of the lives they had planned is going to change. And those changes are going to take place without their best friend. All the ignorance that has been written in this thread is not going to change any of this. So let the ignorance end here. If you want to continue on this thread, pray/wish/meditate/whatever in a positive form for everyone involved. Josh & Brittany are not the only ones affected. Stephanie & Elizabeth are out there, too. Their lives were changed, as well. If you don't have anything positive to add here, I'm pretty sure there's a thread about Obama not much further down the list and you're welcomed to spread your venom there. You'll get just as much accomplished withou hurting innocent people.

need to learn to respect the bike, passengers, and all others on the road. a helmet would help too.

it sucks it takes losing a life for people to stop and think about what you should've before you ever get on.

Go hang yourself with your utility belt, batty boy, you have absolutely no control over what anyone else posts. You don't own Topix and you are not the boss of anybody at all.

u turns are not illegal not unless you cause a accident inwhich he did and it cost a man his life but how fast was the young man going and couldn't keep control of his bike so they were both a fault...

How are Josh and Brittany ? I

Josh and Brittany are loved by many and the friends they had before the accident.will now be even closer and they will make new friends. And dougie will always be remembered in our hearts forever. Yes it hurts like Hell but it has to get better. We will do activities to remember him and we will shed tears because of the hurt. He was a very loved and well known man and we love him and will keep his memory alive.

The best memorial they could put up for the victims of this senseless "accident". Would be for the city to install about 6 speed bumps on that road to keep the crochrocket kids from going out there to race. One young man dead, and another critical, and a 20 year old Mom has lost one of her legs in this wreck. At least they had the sense to wear helmets or it would have been three fatalities.
