You damned dog owners always want your shitmachines to dump their crap someplace besides your own damned yards. No way should responsible pet owners and all taxpayers have to support your nasty habits.

I don't think I ever saw such a miserable bunch of moochers in my life as you got there in jonestown, wanting other people to pay for your dogs, your kids, your houses, your food, your entertainment, your babysitting, you name it. I'm nuts about my kids and my dogs but know better than to expect other people to love or even like them. And I don't expect anybody else to pay for any of them.

Dog park as in two legged or four?:) I thought Craighead Forest WAS for the four legged kind. I sat out there & watched three different owners walk their dogs & then let them dump all over the place never picking it up. As for the two legged kind...we have plenty of private clubs as it is dear:)

I think we need one. We also need more dog activities around here. This own needs to take a lesson from towns like San Diego and others and have more funstuff for people to enjoy with their dogs.

Crap like blowing tax dollars on "fun" stuff for dogs and their idiot owners is a good example of why the whole damned state of California is a total FAIL!

Of course Jbo needs a dog park or three. Any other city has at least a few of them & not just nicer cities. Bly, FC, WM, Marion, etc.. all have dog parks but not Jbo. Jbo lacks in every aspect of life. You must live a discounted life to live in Jbo, so lower your expectations, a lot. Plus, everybody knows most folks in the misreable city of Jonesboro hate dogs. Just go to the neighborhood behind Hastings and look at all the signs that say no dogs allowed and has a pic of a dog with a red circle around it and an X threw the middle.

I don't think people hate dogs as much as the bad dog owners. Mine are kept at home where they're safe and happy and don't dig up the neighbors yards and bite the little kiddies. I man the pooper scooper. ;)

Get married. Have some real kids. Then move back to California.

If the damned yankees have got what you want then you should move your stupid liberal ass to the north and stay there because nobody here is going to ever miss you or your pooping flea bitten cousins.

If you don't have a yard then don't get a dog. It's cruel to crate them or not give them enough room for exercise. Quit being so damn selfish and think of the poor dogs that you get for YOUR entertainment. They get big, they aren't as cute, people get lazy and don' t want them that's why the pounds are full. Dogs are for responsible people who own homes WITH yards. All the renters and apartment dwellers shouldn't get dogs. No dog park for lazy humans. See I just saved us taxpayers lots of money. I'm gonna run for mayor.

Lol nobody in an apartment should own a dog? Tell me something, have you ever been outside of Arkansas? Have you ever been to a place where residents are primarily apartment dwellers? Or have you spent your entire miserable existence in Arkansas having never been exposed to the rest of the world?

You clearly know nothing about dogs or their behavior. Crating is not cruel when done properly. Please provide me links to even one scientific study that show any correlation to dogs being unhealthy or emotionally upset due to being crated. There have been many studies so I'm sure it would be easy for you to find one... if those results existed. Which they don't. You're just one of those people who sits around running off at the mouth about things you know nothing about.

And saying dog parks and lazy humans is a contradiction. If they were lazy they wouldn't want to be bothered to take a dog to a park for exercise. Your entire post is absolutely asinine. But then again, I suppose you're one of those people who would much rather fund yet another park for children so that all of the welfare moms have a place to dump their unwanted kids... so they can then, in turn, go and destroy all of the park equipment. Sounds like a grand idea.

For the original poster, this city is in the process of constructing two dog parks, though from what I understand it will be awhile before it's done due to some planning and zoning issues.

You do realize that the civil war was 150 years ago, right? That there aren't any "Yankees" unless you're referring to a baseball player, right? You do realize that all northern states aren't automatically "Yankee" states, right? Because the majority of states north of Arkansas did not even exist back when the term "Yankee" was prevalent. I'm not a liberal, I'm extremely conservative actually. But I'm also a fan of intelligence and not a fan of uninformed rednecks who cannot fathom what the real world is like because they've never experienced what this country has to offer outside of a 100 mile radius of Jonesboro. This whole north vs south thing is so stupid. I don't think people around here realize that they're the only ones in the whole north/south battle. Nobody else cares. The war is over. By the way, the South lost... just an FYI. Now go slip on your camouflaged jacket, get yourself a cigarette and a beer and watch Duck Dynasty.
