Crowley's Ridge gets a lot of grief from people, but every week the stands are full and the pits are as well. It's always been that way as long as I can remember and I've been going religiously since 99. They have had the same owners since 85 or 86 whenever they opened and here are a lot of second and third generation drivers out there, if that tells you anything...

I wa just saying that the way they race there is totally different from anywhere else. They start the race when they want too! i still dont understand that. you could be going in turn one and BAM they turn on the green lite. and the last time i was there they allow the ppl in the pits to drink!!!!but not in the stands? We ran latemodels when we were there both our cars finished first and second in the feature. for winning we got a pair of what look like mini stock tires,$400 and a WATERMELON...yes i said a WATERMELON!!!

The Ridge gets back to old school racing. Lots of excitement and thrills there. And as far as the racers go, nobody twists their arm to race there. They have been open about 25yrs and just as posted, the stands are always full. I think one thing that draws so many fans there is the welcoming atmosphere. And in case anyone didn't know the owner Glen Francis is an old time Nascar driver. If you get a chance to check it out, do yourself a favor and stop by some Saturday night.

thats not typical of harrisburg(N.E.A. SPEEDWAY) there were some unforseen things that happened there sat night and yea the track was a little rough but thats part what racing is all about...adapt to the track...ive been racing there 4 years now and ive seen the track as smooth as glass and ive seen it rougher than it was sat night. it was the 1st night of the season, warren and tj the owners will have everything smoothed out just dont let this 1 time deal keep you away...it is an awesome track to race on.

I guess what I'm getting at is, they have had very POOR organization this year.
I have been there twice and I have to agree. I hope the new owners get it together. It is a nice facility and it would be a shame to see it close. I hear they don't have as many cars as they had.
It's real simple. Women want clean, functioning restrooms. We also don't want to run out of paper towels or soap. Also, there is no excuse for running out of food. Most of it can be stored for future use. Another thing we noticed is favoritism. The rules should be applied to every car the same. I understand you have your locals who race every week but out of towners should be treated fairly. If you have people you don't want there just tell them, I'm sure they would find another place to race. If anyone knows them you can pass it along.
